region region region lets see , it says us.playstation.com on the game case so i assume is US region . Im in Singapore , before you ask what region is my PSN . I have no idea how do i check ? |
If you registered it with your Singapore address, than the PSN account is region 3. If your game is US game, than the game is region 1. You can try returning the game to your store, but unless you want an english version of the game there isn't much you can actually do (since region 3 is probably chinese).
| NesFe said: I think the japanese version also has a mix of english/japanese menus, the game changer is the english subtitles in the chinese version if true. Hopefully play-asia has some info on that soon. |
I really hope it's true. I'm 8 episodes into Sword Art Online so now I must have this game in some form or another :P
I read somewhere that it includes the same content as the PSP game but adds a new Hollow Fragment area. I don't suppose you happen to know if that's true or not?

You were right :p
Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will have English and Traditional Chinese subtitles in Taiwan.
I haven't followed the game news for this game till recently, but I'll check to see if it has the orginal game content.

That's just linking the same article I used though. Maybe they ran it through google translate as well and just came to the same conclusion :P
Gonna wait for someone else to take the plunge and confirm whether it not it has them when it releases, I suppose.
Well, my local ASDA has dropped Vita (and Wii U) again. Whoop whoop!
Been playing Ys and FF-X. I don't remember FF-X being this good!?? haha, and Ys is just so nostalgic it's untrue, really took me back to the 90s, even if it is a new RPG, it most definitely has it's roots firmly set in the glory days of JRPGs.

I'm still surprised that selling video games in a convenience store/supermarket is a thing in some countries. The only example of that in Germany I can think of right now is Rossmann, where you might be able to find a shelf with 10-20 games (mostly PC, Wii and DS) in some stores. But it's not like anyone buys games there.
Picked up Ys recently, too. Enjoyed it so far. I'm not that big of a fan of Action RPGs and I do prefer turn based combat, but it's still a very enjoyable game. I also plan on getting FF X HD, but I'll probably buy that for my PS3. Sad really, because I usually prefer playing on my Vita, but if PS3's the only way to get X-2 physical, then that's the way I have to go.
I also made myself a promise and said that I won't buy another game or gaming system (seriously, I have bought 8 unique consoles in the last 6 months) until Mario Kart 8 drops, so wish me luck with that. Will be hard missing out on Danganronpa, Conception II, FFX/X2 and more for that long...

Tesco and ASDA are in the top 5 entertainment (games, music, video) retailers in the UK. It's the dedicated high street stores that have taken a hammering here in the UK.

My ASDA dropped both those sections too. Tesco still has quite a few WiiU games, though. Hasn't had any Vita games for at least 6 months.

Yup, what the others just said, although I think there is an English R3 of the game but make sure it can work for Singapore PSN, some R3 games are specific like to Hong Kong or Malaysia only etc.
If your keeping the R1 game (the one that you have) and will create a US PSN then you may want to buy an extra memory card, if you do not have one. So you can designate that as your US PSN card for the Vita.
