I'm still surprised that selling video games in a convenience store/supermarket is a thing in some countries. The only example of that in Germany I can think of right now is Rossmann, where you might be able to find a shelf with 10-20 games (mostly PC, Wii and DS) in some stores. But it's not like anyone buys games there. Picked up Ys recently, too. Enjoyed it so far. I'm not that big of a fan of Action RPGs and I do prefer turn based combat, but it's still a very enjoyable game. I also plan on getting FF X HD, but I'll probably buy that for my PS3. Sad really, because I usually prefer playing on my Vita, but if PS3's the only way to get X-2 physical, then that's the way I have to go. I also made myself a promise and said that I won't buy another game or gaming system (seriously, I have bought 8 unique consoles in the last 6 months) until Mario Kart 8 drops, so wish me luck with that. Will be hard missing out on Danganronpa, Conception II, FFX/X2 and more for that long... |
Tesco and ASDA are in the top 5 entertainment (games, music, video) retailers in the UK. It's the dedicated high street stores that have taken a hammering here in the UK.
