Wow! Over 31 PS3 / Vita games and 117 PS1-games... that's crazy!

Does anyone of you know, which of these Japanese versions have English subtitles included?

Correction: almost 200 free PS1 games... if you click on the 117th icon "I see more", another 82 PS1 games are offered... absolutely crazy!

And all of them Cross-Buy between PS3, PSP and PSVita, while WiiU owners wait for their first batch of GBA-titles, which can't be played on the 3DS or DS.

Well, at least I can play all of my DS games on my 3DS and all of my Wii  games on my Wii U without having to rebuy them. And since physical > digital...

:P

PSN lets you do that with digital games. It's only Nintendo that makes you rebuy the same digital game on different formats :p

Really not impressed that I need to rebuy my NES/SNES Roms again on Wii U.

Well, if you downloaded them on your Wii (which I assume you are talking about), you techincally only have to rebuy them if you want to keep them on your Wii as well (thanks to the system transfer and Wii U's Wii mode).

But yeah, Nintendo needs to step up their game when it comes to digital stuff. I myself am not really affected since I don't buy digital unless I have to, but I can see how stuff like that is frustrating to people.

The screwed up the EU ROMS and decided we'd want the authentic (i.e. bordered slower 50hz versions) on Wii.

Wii U ones are I understand 60hz so full speed and full "frame".

I'm also hoping the Wii U SNES ROMS won't suffer from frame drops and slowdown like (some of) the Wii ones do for some strange reason.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Or if you want to play them on a small screen (offscreen on the WiiU tablet controller or mobile on the 3DS).

I can't stand PS1-, SNES- or N64-resolutions on the big TV, but it is okay on a handheld screen (or the tablet-controller screen)

I'm starting chapter 5 in Dangan Ronpa and I really like it, but I think I was much more emotionally invested in 999/VLR. It's a shame that we are not going to get a proper ending to that series.

Back to dangan ronpa,I like that I have guessed all the criminals so far in the game except for chapter 2, for obvious reasons. Also, Damn those fucking punishments, they make you feel bad for the criminals, except in case 2 which made me laugh lol. Overall cant wait to play the second game (people say its much better and adds new elements so thats cool) and importing Another Episode( apparently MC of that game is Makoto's sister)

The execution in Chapter 1 was really fucked up.  Like, I genuinely found it pretty disturbing.  Which made Chapter 2's punishment so weird because it was really comical by comparison.  I much preferred Chapter 1's.

Interesting facts I read about the first execution:

Leon is hit with 11037 baseballs, which was the number Sayaka wrote upside down when she was murdered.

Also, Leon was taken to a batting cage and killed with baseballs.  In the opening chapter, there's a point where he says he hates going to baseball practice and avoids it as much as he can.  So, it's the ultimate ironic punishment for him.

I'm happy you are enjoying the game Kresnik. I knew it was something you'd like. :)

I'm happy they are bringing the second one. Looking forward to playing it.

PAL games are the redheaded stepchild in any software emulation. :(

Many PAL-versions of PS1-games also run slower than the NTSC-versions and often have wrong aspects and ugly bars. Wrong Aspects + the black bars can be fixed on the Vita by zooming in, but I wish, Sony would offer both versions in the PAL markets.

PAL TV signals were also a problem for the Xbox One: http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/xbox-50hz-201311233468.htm

You can use the Wii U Gamepad's screen as a screen for Wii U's Wii mode since the summer(?) update. You can't use it as a controller, so you'll need a Wii mote, but it works.

I think the biggest problem with VC games not being cross-buy (at least between Wii and Wii U) is that Wii doesn't have an account system and thus there's no way for Nintendo to check if you have bought those games before or not. They should, however, enable crossbuy between Wii U and 3DS and should give you the games you own in Wii U's Wii mode for free on Wii U once they are released for it.

Since I don't want to keep on going off-topic: I want to buy some more games for my Vita and I am not really up to date with the stuff that's out the moment or that will be out in the near future. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I should be buying? For reference, here's my current library:

- Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
- BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend
- Dead Or Alive 5+
- Disgaea 3: Absence Of Detention
- Dragon's Crown
- Gravity Rush
- Little Big Planet PS Vita
- Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
- ModNation Racers: Road Trip
- New Little King's Story
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus
- Persona 4 Golden
- PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
- Rayman Origins
- Tearaway
- Touch My Katamari
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss
- WipEout 2048

I know, but who does that? Holding the WiiU-tablet controller and a Wii-remote to play a game. Why can't the buttons be mapped to the tablet controller (or any other controller the WiiU supports)?

If Nintendo would make it possible to transfer the VC games from Wii-mode to native WiiU-mode, the games could run smoother and you could use the sticks and buttons of the tablet controller.

Nice collection :D

Why not try Killzone: Mercenary, Soul Sacrifice and Y's Memories of Celceta. The only one I don't own here is Y's but the series has been known for its quality, so you can't go wrong there :)

Oh yeah there is Soul Sacrifice Delta coming which is the upgraded version. I guess you could wait for that one instead hehehe

edit for typo, freaking ipad

Danganronpa.  A thousand times Danganronpa :P

Killzone Merc is also pretty good; as is Need for Speed; and Soul Sacrifice has an excellent demo that I recommend you check out to see if you like the full game :P

Get some digital downloads in there too.  My current favourites: Atelier Totori Plus; Earth Defence Force 2017 Portable; Hotline Miami; Guacamelee; Super Stardust Delta; Terraria.

You already have a nice selection but I suppose you aren't interested in digital only games, in my opinion this attitude is not the best thing for the PS Vita, there are a lot of digital only games, also full price ones. I also recommend Killzone and the other digital only games already mentioned, sorry for bothering you too much about digital games

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!
