To be fair to him, the stuff that was requested all had a hell of a lot of obstacles to overcome.

Type-0 is a PSP game, which would either need up-porting to Vita (which requires work on Square-Enix's side) or releasing as a native PSP game which would do nothing for Vita, which is the hardware Shahid is trying to save with that campaign.

Tales is a Namco game and they don't really hand out their localizations.

Valkyria Chronicles is a PSP game which has exactly the same problems as Type-0 and also is a SEGA IP and they don't like handing out their localizations.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is an online game requiring lots of servers up and running, and there's also a PC version which I'm sure SEGA would be more interested in bringing across.

It would've been an uphill struggle to get any of these games.  Tales seems the most likely but idk.

My problem with him is just the hype he creates.  "An announcement soon" right before the slim reveal, followed by "oh yeah my announcement isn't for a month".  Shut up, Shahid.

Buts its kind of hard to make an excuse for Type-0 because its getting an iOS type spin-off or something. So not getting a Vita version would almost be inexcusable for Sony or SE.

You are right of course that it was a big undertaking from the very beginning....but he must have been aware that poeple will obviously ask for the most popular games like Type-0 and Tales...

...he really could have handled it better, as you said

loving Toukiden so far, only complaint is the game isnt available in Australia to preorder =( TK have said its exclusive to JB but they dont have it up on their site yet. Also why the fuck isnt EB Games getting it. Might start playing online soon
