But yeah, Europe has always been pretty dire when it comes to Japanese games. That's the reason I bought an American PS2 just some days ago. And thank God for DS and GBA being region free.

We probably should be happy that we get these games in the first place. Oh, and that Vita is region free, of course. I would have bought Conception II on the 3DS since that's my primary handheld (or rather primary console period), but now I'll have to go with the Vita version.

It's a shame though, especially since Vita is essentially dead in America while it at least does SOMETHING in Europe (despite us getting screwed over when it comes to physical games).


Yeah, forgot about Rising Star & Ghostlight actually.  The point I was trying to make, though, is that buying NISA games physically isn't necessarily going to convince Atlus & Aksys to start publishing games physically over here because they still won't have distribution networks.

I suppose the best thing to do is make sure you pick up the physical version of Sorcery Saga to convince Ghostlight to pick up more of their games to bring to Europe.  But if anything, I think Atlus & Aksys are just going to go digital since they get more money that way.

S'a shame.  But thank god for region-free, eh?  I don't mind importing and it makes me very happy that I can have a physical copy of these games.

Only freaking problem is the dlc and the user pass, since Sony doesn't allow multiple user account on one vita. 

Conception 2 doesn't have DLC other than MonoKuma?

I dont know about Conception 2, but games like Murasama Rebirth and Sorcery Saga have dlc.

But yeah, your point is clear. I actually thought about getting Muramasa Rebirth digitally when it was on sale to make that my "compatible with DLC" version despite my intention to import it in the future (I really have to get to that, but my gaming backlog is huge; I just bought a PS2 and an original Xbox last week). I don't quite understand why they region lock DLC anyway.

It's still better than having region lock on games, of course. Actually it's cool that importing isn't much more expensive than buying here because of the stupid "40$ = 40€" stuff the gaming industry's got going. So at least we got that.

Man, this really reminds me why I want to live in North America.

You do realize that Shahid is like, "inde relations" or something, right?  It's kind of his JOB to get indies to develop for the Vita, so when he succeeds, of course he's excited.

That is true, but  after the first time people were burned by getting overhyped for some AAA title that never came,  people started asking him if the games he was teasing were indie or not. I remember him saying that some titles were not indie  but a big AAA title (maybe other users can pitch in). We still haven't gotten that title as far as I know and thats how people started dsiliking him.

I don't think he really used the words AAA title, but he did say that we were going to get some really big releases and just to wait for E3, only for nothing at all to be announced, and then a couple months later he started doing it again, saying that they're going to be a lot of big Vita games and then all the stuff about #jrpgvita. This was back in the middle of year last year that he strung us along.

So where are those JRPGs that he stated that were coming, the really big titles? He's done nothing but piss fans off by stringing them along with his lies. Why should we believe anything he says when he did the exact same thing all last year? I don't give a damn if he is Vita indie relations or not. He should stfu about hyping retail games or JRPGs if nothing is going to come out of it.

I hope its not enough to piss me off really really bad, because if it does, then Sony shall feel my wrath!!!...

And by that I mean getting another PSP + PS2 + PS3 and going jack sparrow on their ass lol...

Sony really hyped up today (Jan 30th 2014) as a Vita "relaunch" and said they were going to show us what has been in the pipeline, but didn't announce anything today...except for the vita 2000 coming to the UK...
