You've crossed the line from which there's no return, that's what you've done. Now enter the Garden of Madness!

According to Tecmo Koei's Twitter, Deception IV is coming (to Europe, at least) on March 28. Even sooner than I'd dared to hope!
Edit: March 25 for North America. Ha! Eat it, Europeons!

I don't think Uncharted is worth skipping either, especially if he owns it. It's not the most earth-shattering game but it's beautiful and a lot of fun. Especially towards the conclusion (but not the final boss, lol). Still worth playing. |
I think I worded it incorrectly. It was more meant as a "guideline" which games he should put on the backburner and which games should be played first.
Gravity Rush is charming enough and Soul Sacrifice is pretty addictive (from my little time with it)
Except Uncharted.

SCEA did incredible bad lately regarding PS Vita and really pisses me off, the system have so much potential and SCEA holds some really nice IPs, why the fuck they didn't produce for the system? Full focus on PS4? If that's the case, the history repeats itself... actually, now it is even worse, since all studios (including Bend) are working on PS4! Edit: I agree with Badgenome too. They really should have scaled the PS3 support back.
Gran Tourismo 6 shouldn´t have been on the PS3, it currently doesn´t sell particularly well (going by the series´ history)...and pretty much nobody seemed to be excited for it.
On the Vita? I would have bought it and it could have given the hardware a shot in the arm (not save...obviously, but it would have improved the situation somewhat)
...oh well :-/
Edit: Sorry for the dubblepost, Vitachartz seems to be pretty empty today

GT6 is too big game for Vita. What Vita "needs" is it's own GT game. Something inbetween of PSP GT and GT5.
Just finished Sly cooper:Thieves Of Times.
This is without a doubt the most underrated PSvita game.

I think GT6 (or whatever the PS4 one gets called) would be good for Vita actually. With Cross Save and Cross Play and Cross Control/Vita second screen functionality. They want to find a way of making a PS4/Vita seem like better way of playing it. Shame Nintendo don't make driving games for Sony to rip ideas from :p
FUCK YOU TECMO KOEI!
Seriously, why release Deception in March? Why? Why?
Is it not enough that I'm buying Danganronpa; Lightning Returns & Ys in February; then FFX HD & Atelier Escha in March? Now you have to give me yet another game in that lineup?
Why don't we just throw in Tales of Xillia 2 & Demon Gaze in March? Might as well make it a full house.
Bleh.
Sadly, I think I'm gonna have to put Deception on the back-burner and prioritize the others.

It makes a HUGE difference for two reasons 1. Sony's best and most popular western first party studios are under SCEA 2. SCEE and SCEJA can't do the heavy lifting alone. 2013 was basically their show with SCEA not showing up. So 2014 is the time they should pick up the slack. Situation is made dire by Shuhei's dumb moves in not bringing games like rain and Puppetteer to vita. A handheld game is much cheaper to make. And I assure you exclusive GTA games didn't come to the psp because Rockstar took a leap of faith. Money talks and shit happens basically. They also don't have a single huge third party exclusive for the first 2 years+ in Japan. No FF, No DQ. It doesn't always have to be money. A partnership with incentives such as more marketing, publishing and other future costs being paid would have done just fine. Sony came in with no solid plan but mainly focusing on the PS4 and it shows sadly. In Japan actually vita is gettin a decent amount of software support now thanks to sales picking up somewhat. Issue is in the west, especially NA. No marketing, no first party exclusives and no third party exclusives = big problem As for your COD example, wiiu basically got a port of a current gen game. Vita gets bunch of ports too. But if Vita were to get a COD they will have to make a new one because of things like MP. And I am certain Ninty is paying if there's a need because Acitivision won't do it if it doesn't make them money. At the end of the day the console was made by Sony. So it's their responsibility to the customers who bought their product to make sure great quality exclusives keep coming. They are doing a poor job at it overall at the moment. |
Gran Turismo is the only bigger ip that Sony don't release, looking to scee game i don't think they are less talented then scea devs.
Sony Bend was able to make a Uncharted on vita with nearly to same graphic then the first Uncharted it's amazing when you know that Vita is less powerfull then ps3.
And like i said Sony first party can't save psv only third party can even if scea start to support vita they won't save vita since we talk about sale.
Third party drop their psp support with no reason even when software sales was really good and now they don't support vita from the begining if third party support vita they would have extra income.
I really find hard to believe that Nintendo pay for games that will fail to sale well black ops sold only 0.23 and ghost 0.11 on wii u .
Vita 3rd party games are late port wii u third party game released in the same time on wii u and on ps3/xbox360
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I really hope you run into a Rube Goldberg machine of traps later today, starting with you taking a pie in the face and ending with you falling into a wood chipper.
