well enjoy the FW trailer, I have to wait until December for my internet so youtube vids will load

First thing they need to add is lots of small monsters/whatever they are called. The level feels empty. Obviously, the graphics need some work and that running animation is bad.

It feels like alpha footage to be honest. Positives, this kind of gameplay is what shingeki no kyo gin should have had on the 3ds, and not what it has right now.

I'm thinking this is just the boss battle area and you have to go through smaller enemies before getting to them

Indeed, the game looks like it needs more polish. Particularly the animations and the environment.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about that. the vid does look like early alpha footage though. I 'm still optimistic about the game, but I'm playing God eater 2 right now, so probably that made me an get an underwhelming impression of Freedom wars in comparison ^^.

hehe well it's the same peeps and then some so the end product will be more polished :D I do love the Just Cause like grapple mechanic...could be mad fun with a group of friends

Yeah, I like the idea of grappling the monster or maybe grapple to a vantage point and shoot/snipe at monsters. It adds an interesting dynamic to the game, a vertical dimension.

Overall, I like what Sony is doing with the hunting genre. they are trying to add new things and experiment to keep their games different from God Eater /MonHun etc... I liked how Soul Sacrifice turned out, bring on Freedom wars.

That lasso really looks like fun i hope they would include rolling to evade enemy attacks.

Freedom Wars is looking good! Combat looks fun, the graphics for what should be an early build of the game look great and the music has an epic feel to it. Hope it has an interesting story to boot. This and Gravity Rush 2 have been my most wanted games for next year and it looks like Freedom wars won't let me down... Your next Gravity Rush!!

Tearaway is the best Vita game I've ever played, and I've played them all.
