This is a good sign that we may get Rebirth. I mean the least likely to be localized is coming, it would make no sense for the most likely not to get here and this is NIS not Sega. So I would assume we are safe. lol! :D

Lol so true, I'm expecting it to come, Seeing this is getting a Physical release hopefully that does too. I hate being forced to buy digital, wastes unnecessary amounts of memory for me lol
Best news ever to see NepNep heading west... but what about the remake, we want that to NISA

Pokemon is way way better.
If you are familiar with Blood Brothers on the smart phones then Destiny of Spirits is like that. Although I still prefer Blood Brothers' Artwork.
@ Nepnep
Wow! so NiS is still doing the localization that's interesting.
@Vita
Whether we accept it or not, Nintendo getting MH 4 is a huge blow to Vita. Looking at Media Create numbers really shows the damage.

was probably a deal made before we had the new IF America thing. either that or NISA's pressence in the community is so strong that they realize it will help sales
I played the Destiny of Spirits Beta for about 1,5 hours today. (tutorial plus about an hour or so)
i have to say it is ok.... but since i am playing magic the gathering i miss the depth of combat.
weakness/strenght against elements is only in one directions. you have 5 elements, and it's only like: water beats fire but not vice versa.
there are no skills or whatsoever for "you", the destiny master. so you only customize through the spirits. i haven't found out if they can evolve.
you level your spirits merging them. so you take your level 1 creature and merge it with two other level 1s and it gets level 3, increases stats and so on but it stays the same creature (i guess there will be some combinations that evolve to something new).
payment model seems to be hm, dunno. if a spirit dies you either wait 30 minutes (you can replace it with another spirit) until it revives or you pay.
you can gather spirits through fights (doesnt happen a lot), summon them with points that you gain from fights, or you summon them with real money. i guess this guarantees to get a uncommon spirit, while the "free" option gives you mostly commons.
i hope you can at least evolve the spirits for some cool combinations.
but the combat itself is pretty boring. like a real time rpg. 3 vs 3.
i definitely recommend checking it out. maybe the game gains sooome depth later. i am still waiting for ANY free to play game. no problem with paying a small fee for several stuff, but the games simply lack content mostly.
must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:
WiiU: Donkey Kong
XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

I think that IF's branch on the US is more to promote their titles and make easier the licensing in the west instead of translating. But anyway may be later they will assemble a translation group and publish the titles...
I'm currently playing Rayman Origins on my Vita and after a pretty awesome start I have to say the game really loses its charm in the last levels. There is hardly any room for diversion from the optimal jump timings etc in "Mecha no Mistake" or "Get Away!" stages and sometimes they kill you a good 5-10 seconds after you made the mistake, which is just plain frustrating to me.
Makes me quite happy I didn't pay money (other than the PS+ sub ofc) for this.
Well you know, internet people tend to forgot that games always flop hard for strong reason that are INSIDE the game. Nowaday, everyone pretend his favorite game has bombed because it is the next/new Shadow of the colossus.
Shadow colossus and to a lesser extent Okami are the only two games that flop shocked me. The rest is beyond easy to understand.
Rayman Origins is very well made graphic wise, but the game is just an average plateformer sold at full price. Even 20$€ is too much for it. Same goes for Legends. I'll drop 10 on origins and 15 on Legends (more content) max, and since I'm a good example of what a mainstream gamer is, I bet I'm not alone thinking this way.
Hooray, Vita announcement from NISA!
Boo, Neptunia Idol PP.
There are very few games they could've picked which I would've been less excited about. Slotter Mania perhaps. Criminal Girls possibly. PhotoKano maybe.
Lame. Only thing I like about this announcement is that it makes Re;birth seem like it's more likely to come.
