There are people who wonder why Vita keeps getting so many games in Japan. This is why, they make loads of money. God Eater 2 should be fun to see. |
Great news, Toukiden 2 PS Vita exclusive next year or by first half of 2015. Your heard it first here lol ;P
I ALWAYS SEE KAT
She's
ps: Cool Boarders 3 is in there? I still have that exact copy! (am I wrong?)
Found it, now I can caress it for some time, poor old unused game XD
ps2: at 0:09 there is the PSone hidden by a VHS while it wasn't supposed to appear at that moment XD.
ps3: at 0:52 CONTROLLERS NOT CONNECTED LOL!
ps4: at 2:21 Gran turismo Portable is hiding two VITA games in 2006!
ps5: at 2:37 FULL view poster KAT with special forces suit and next to her is the other army girl from the last part of Gravity Rush.
What does it mean that with PS4 every poster with games is gone and also every older sistemis are gone? GAIKAI?
Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!
Sleepyprince said: Dev makes money with the vita, no doubt when it comes to other things that big AAA titles. Vita gamers would buy any good games coming since it's rare to see one on this system. But let's not forget that Sony makes money too with vita. Looks at the memory card you have to buy. Let's say they make just 5 dollars profits over them and multiply by the number of vita sold... Sony is a clear winner here. I know they say that they made no profit over the vita, but that sounds pretty hard to believe to me. Looks like a lame excuse to drop the price. |
How can you say dev makes money with vita when it comes to other thinga that big AAA titles psv never get AAA game in Japn
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

All Western devs should get a memo about this. How is it possible that these small Japanese devs can make good games that bring huge profits with less than 500k copies sold? Why can't Western devs do the same? And why can't big Japanese devs (S-E, crapcom) do the same? It is possible and is happening, meanwhile EA says that a NFS port, which sold over 400k copies, sold too bad in order for them to make another port. Ridiculous.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
They can do it because they take into account the userbase and anticipated sales. Western Devs gun for 5m+ sales and pour far too much money into the game rather than develop games with a sensible expectations.
That's why a lot of Japanese games aren't the most technically accomplished. Lower budgets.

In short, I think that the game developing industry has gone in a sort of frenzy, and the big software houses are framed in situations where huge budgets, overpaid super-managers and investors expectations all conjure up the situations we are seeing, with a constant flood of "colossal" games who must sell or bring a whole arm of the company to death. This also favours little developer teams, sometimes able to pull a winner by means of low budget projects but supported by well though ideas. Akiba's Trip 2 could become a perfect example of what I'm trying to explain.
So hyped for Soul Sacrifice Delta. It looks like what I really wanted from the first one :D seriously 4 player split screen on Vita TV?
I can't get over how good the soundtrack is for the original. If this isn't picking up awards for best soundtrack (which it won't because most critics didn't even bother playing the game for more than 10 minutes) I'm going to be seriously disappointed.
Did the soundtrack get a CD release in Japan? I absolutely love it!
