I know, positive thinking and all that jazz, but how exactly is sub 7k in NA good? It's beyond horrible, there's just hoping VGC is undertracking it a bit, and the situation there is not so dire.

Just now I saw the not so bad sales on EU and steady ones in Japan. Congrats Vita and congrats Sony!

Well, they massively undertracked KillZone Mercenary in the US (VGC had it at 17k and NDP has it at over 40k). It really wouldn't surprise me if Vita in general is significantly undertracked in the West on VGC.

I wish I liked God Eater more than I do. I very much enjoyed the world of the first game, and the story was alright. But man, the game was tedious. The same few enemies over and over.

I'm guessing all the fun is contained in the multi-player.

Massive is a relative term, you could say that if we mean percenatage wise, cause yeah over 200% undertracking is a lot, if we look at quantity, it's barely 23k. Even if Vita would shift 23k more units that month it would still be very bad.

Vita isn't massively undertracked in NA. Or at least, not by any amount worth noting (might be about 5k undetracked for last month), but I believe it's already been adjusted.

It's just not selling over there.

As for Killzone, it wasn't really "massively" undertracked either. The only thing that bothered me about that was it was obvious it hadn't sold 17k in a month, but VGC just went ahead with the figures anyway. As I've said to Brendude recently, they extract their numbers from a small amount of retailers by the look of it, which is fine. But after they've worked out all their algorithms, they need to take a step back and think "does this look correct?", rather than just sticking with the numbers no matter how silly they might seem.

But I guess not really when you think of it in terms of units. However if you apply it across the entire Vita line up there could be a lot of missing game sales.

A few Vita games with confirmed sales still show as 0 sales.

Don't get me wrong.  I've been pushing for sales to be added to Vita games every chance I get (I still bring up NGS2+ & DOA5+'s numbers in every NPD thread, but they still haven't been added).

But percentage jumps, like you say, are just pointless at this stage.  They just hide what is a poor increase in unit sales.

Nah, now they say there are no AAA games for vita, just "indie crap". Or that vita is ironic because it means life in Latin (bet no one knew this already).
