I don't remember who it was, but Someone was wondering about Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth, it finally showed enough gameplay to show it's still basically the same game and same battle system, I can't tell the additions to the game tho

You can definitely spot notable differences in the Vita version.  Not least, the world seems a lot more colourful and the battle system is completely different (if you look at that video Noctis linked, it has the battle system from 2 & 3).

I will say that every video I've seen of the Vita version seems to have some major framerate issues... it doesn't look smooth at all.

OT: Sadly, Phantasy Star Nova didn't look like my kind of thing either.  Reminded me of God Eater, hacking away at limbs of big monster.  Not my cup of tea at all.  It's a shame, because I've enjoyed the Phantasy Star IP at various points in time and a Vita version should've been exactly my kind of thing.  Just not like this :'(

That's what I find odd, the older trailer looked more like mk. 2 gameplay, but this one shows fully the first game battle system.. It's confusing. The detail like grphical change seemed there but I couldn't tell with em showing ps3 and vita cell shading back and forth lol

Wii U - 25m

I think... are you confusing in that video that they were showing gameplay from the actual first game?  They were comparing it to the gameplay of the new title.

The battle system is definitely from 2 (with the hit box in front of the character).

From what I'm reading about Soul Sacrifice Delta, it does actually seem like a completely new title. Wondering whether I should still go ahead and buy the original first. Hmm...

Oh, sweet! So that boulder attack in the trailer was actually a player punching another player into the monster!

Sega is at it again. They have no plans to localize Phantasy Star Nova.
