I just bought a Vita! Finally! Amazon had the Wifi + 8GB Memory + Mega Pack 1 on sale for €169 and this time I just couldn't resist. Watching videos of the new LCD screen did the rest.
Gravity Rush or Persona now? That's the question. I'm leaning towards Persona.

All must kneel before our Goddess Kat

But honestly you cant go wrong with either of them

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

are you a fan of JRPGs or turn based RPGs at all?? because P4G is easily one of the best. Oh and it lasts a long time... especially if you want that Platinum Trophy (thank god i dont care for trophies).

Yes, I am! It's just that GTA and Pokémon are around the corner and I don't like having a backlog. On the other hand after finishing my seminar papers I'll have two weeks without having to do anything and I need some entertainment muhaha.

@SnakeDrake: I know, I know! Who am am I kidding I'm gonna get both games eventually. I'll go with Persona first I think, I won't have time for an epic RPG after mid October and the little time I have will be spent playing Pokémon with my crazy friends (all early to mid 20s, all into Pokémon We're nuts.)

Anyways, I'm happy to be a Vita owner and part of the club! My console will arrive tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.

Congratulations.  I hope you enjoy your new console.

I can only speak of Gravity Rush, but it's an awesome game.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it.  Haven't played Persona, but everyone raves about it so I think you can't go wrong with either :)

What other types of games do you like?

Thanks man! I always had a crush for the Vita since the first time I saw it but I never got around to buy one due to price (console + games + memory card) and other releases on different platforms.

I have a pretty diverse taste I think: I like everything from Mario and Pokémon to GTA, God of War and Resident Evil. One of the reasons I bought the Vita was that I loved my PSP and its games (Wipeout, GoW, GT, Patapon, Jak & Daxter...) and my PSP recently died so I had to spend money on new hardware anyways. I don't like iOS / Android games though so I'm not too much into Minis and Indie games. I don't have much time to play games these days so I only want the top notch stuff. I really hope Sony announces some high profile games for the Vita.

Here's a rather random discovery I made. You get camera control when the fighters go into their winning/losing pose in DOA+. I had no idea lol

DOA have that since DOA3 i think.. and Sul Calibur Had that since the first on Dreamcast until the third on PS2.. on the winning/lose pose and the replays too... not sure if SCIv had it, but SCV doesn't..

Aside from games you'll be constantly recommended to get, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is worth the purchase.  I own it and have played it on the PS3, but as soon as it drops in price I'm going to purchase it again on the Vita.  You can skip the first one.

Any news on Celceta coming to Europe? :(

Import it. Its what i did. The game is pretty cheap and even importing it you will probably pay as much or less than you would buying it physical here in europe.

For those that don't have Soul Sacrifice, it's 24,90$ on Play-Asia. I just ordered my copy.

Great deal in the German (European?) PSN:
for every 50 € you upload to your PSN account per "PayPal", "sofort" or "giropay", you get a 10€-PSN-coupon.

Combined with the PS+ offer (1 year + 90 days for the price of the yearly subscription), you get nearly 15 months PS+ and the 10€ coupon for 50 € altogether.

My PS+ is now valid until Christmas 2016 ;)
