Also something about the memory. Regardless of what happens - there's a chance of me getting a Vita...unless they announce a re-design at TGS 2013 >___>. |
You should not forget psn games. There are some really great psn games available for the psvita.

Just so you guys know what sort of expectations you should be watching Sony's conference at Gamescom, Famousmortimer( a confirmed Gaf leaker) had this to say about the vita.
"As for the actual vita, I'm curious. In all of my digging I've never even gotten a sniff of whatever game Shahid is talking about. There are a few current gen games that are supposedly being ported that I expected at E3 but weren't there... is that because they were canned or is it because they aren't ready? I dunno. But going into next year I have absolutely zero idea what their big game plans are. We had heard rumblings about Killzone since the launch and Tearaway has been known about for a year... but I don't think Sony has mentioned a single game coming after Tearaway which is the end of November. I know gamescom is mostly about setting up the fall/holiday... but goddamn they need to show that there is stuff coming next year for the vita."
Not saying he's right, but yeah... Expect ports, maybe ?I know people (me too lol) will probably start to get hyped near the conference, but I don't think there is anything and I honestly never believed shahid's tweets. In my opinion TGS is the only conference that will show new vita games since Sony seems to still care about that region.

I don't understand why NISA doesn't localize Muramasa alongside Dragon's Crown. I hope they do it later...
yeah whats the deal with Muramasa and PAL. i really hope its coming this year. seems odd that its not been confirmed

And Aboutthe killzone info on NeoGaf, is just me or is KZMercenary looking more Exciting than ShadowFall for PS4, is just both are a little more open and less lineal, more of of the free type... But the variety on mercenary is looking actually really great... well Anyway I'll play both on my Vita :) |
I had to try XD
Chie Satonaka and Rise Kujikawa seems to be taken and I have a friend that has dibs on Yukiko Amagi. XD
The more I see KZ:M news the more I like it :3

It's equally sad they forget financials wise the PS3 was in a much deeper shitter at the start. It damn near destroyed sony's gaming division. Vita is nowhere near that..hell I'm sure it makes them a good chunk of money. If sony gives up on vita come GC and TGS (by this I mean they don't show a strong enough showing of software)..I might even go with XBone or skip home consoles altogether and go with a PC in the coming years. Such a company does not deserve my money or trust |
No offence, MUGEN, but you're always so dramatic with this stuff :P
I agree the attention Sony are given to Vita blows, but anything that should make you more keen on PS4 because it's clear where their priorities lie (and you know you'll be getting a good deal).
At the end of the day, Vita seems like a device that was made to continue the crazy legacy which PSP started in Japan; and they tried to make it work in the west (at least for a while) and failed. I mean, it took pretty much 90% of Nintendo's studios working on 3DS at the same time + a hefty price drop to make that work in the west. So that leaves it as a Japanese device which is an area Sony have always lacked in (Japanese studios).
Don't get me wrong, I'd like them to support Vita more. And the future is looking bleaker now than ever. But it is what it is, and just think this was a bit of an over-reaction. But do whatever you think is best, I guess.
That's a tad dramatic, MUGEN. But it is most sad that they aren't supporting the Vita. Coincidentally, Im going through p4G again. I think it may be even better this time.
Anyway, here's some Siliconera-shaped Vita news:
Compile Heart adding free post-game content to Holy Sorcery Story:

A look at Mind=0's post game dungeon, 'Nameless Labyrinth':

Tecmo Koei's profits are up as Toukiden posts very strong sales numbers:

I actually think Mind=0 is looking quite good. Well, not "looking" good, it looks like arse, but I reckon I'd enjoy it. Hope we see it localised.

Of course it does. 5 millions of vita sold. That's not something to go nuts about, but that's still pretty solid. But I don't think ps3 was in the same situation. I remember people was rushing in store to buy ps3 and all.
