Guys, NiKKoM made a thread about it and I'm reposting the news:

This Man Likes the Vita So Much, He Practically Remade His Game For It

As of July 23rd, Square Enix has released its popular RPG, Chaos Rings, to the PlayStation Mobile section of the PlayStation Store, where it can be downloaded and played on smartphones, tablets, and the PS Vita.

When asked why he decided to release the formerly smartphone-only game on PS Mobile, producer Takehiro Ando's answer was surprisingly simple. "To be frank, I really like the PlayStation Vita," he remarked in an interview with Weekly Famitsu. "To be honest, I made it because other developers have been taking their time releasing good games for the PS Vita."

Ando's love of the Vita and his wish to see and play his game on it were so great that he actually went through the trouble of remaking his game from almost the ground up. His efforts were not in vain. Upon first trying out the newly completed Vita-compatible version, Ando apparently yelled in surprise at how natural the gameplay felt. "We thought we were making a game for smartphones, but when I ran it on the PS Vita, it was a true Vita game through and through." Ando recalled. "It had such presence [on the console] I thought, 'What is this? This could be a new Vita release!'"

Asked if we could expect a Vita-compatible Chaos Rings II, Ando expressed his wish to bring the sequel over. However, he added "If there's a reliable market for it, we'd like to port all the titles we've worked on. Therefore, it's going to largely depend on how this release of Chaos Rings does."

Chaos Rings was originally released in 2010 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game is currently available for US$ 7.99 on PlayStation Mobile.

I bougth two days ago and yesterday in the morning played it till the battery drain out... is pretty good, but I have to point that only the control schemes was remade, the graphicals aren't something of PSVita, looks better than some PSP games but is not at Vitas level by far, 3D stages are plain texterued and very pixelated... and have some framerate issues, I can sense it sometimes, but nothing that could drag the gameplay...

So I don't think it could have been another Vita release unnless inclued with the second game and graphically enhanced...

@RUTEA7: Congrats on Your buy! I have been wanting that game for a long time, just rigth now was price dropped on US store and is at 20$ good deal rigth? But I want to keep my money to Dragon's Crown or Killzone mercenary :/ Have 12$ on the wallet and 40$ more on Amazon giftcards...

Looks quite nice.

Actually, im quite disappointed. Last years gameplay footage looked alot better. I cant help but think they had to cut back on detail because of the PSP version. Still want it bad though.

Might just be the quality of the video. I've played the thing on my Vita yesterday and it's gorgeous I can tell you.

Don't know why Sony is taking so long to release PSM in other countries, trophies and PSN integration and access for other countries.

I would personally want to see HD remakes of .hack, SSX Tricky (or SSX 3), TimeSplitters, or Dark Cloud 1 and 2. All games are good and were pretty early on in the PS2's life.

What excellent, excellent suggesstions.  SSX 3 would be my ideal game to have on the go with me at all time.  Timesplitters: Future Perfect would be great too.

Grats on getting NLKS for that price, Rutea. I had a lot of fun with it; nice little game, as long as you can put up with the slowdown towards the end.

Shadow Hearts would be pretty good, I would like Kingdome hearts HD and ICO & Shadow of Collosus release on PSVita...

But specially I would love to play Final Fantasy XII or even FFXI online... Another one is Rogue Galaxy i couldn't get to play it on PS2 back then is a SONY licensed game... Xenosaga HD would be Too much AWESOME too...
