Worms Revolution Extreme Explodes onto PS Vita This Year

I like Worms ^^. It's a good time waster.

Also Square Enix’s Chaos Rings Comes To Vita Next Week. No word of NA/EU release but apparently PSM games release worldwide most of the  times ?

No wonder this thread is jokingly called "The Church of the Vita Cult" by some others.  So slavenly devoted to all things Vita that most people can't see when your chosen path is rocky.

Sorry to bring this up again, especially after the topic has died down, but I'm really disappointed you typed this Runa.  I thought you were pretty decent at raising a point; defending it etc.  And I think you're a decent writer based on your reviews, even if I don't always agree with the final score you give them.  But typing something like this is the equivalent of playing the "your mom" card, in my opinion.  Just an effortless putdown when you don't know how to argue with something you disagree with.  Especially given the rest of your reply which was pretty on-point.

Do not put those two games next to eachother over again. Hotline Miami is on another level. No one will remember FFXIII-turd.

FF XIII was not a game I enjoyed.  FF XIII-2 was the third most enjoyable game I played last year behind WipEout 2048 & SSX.  And I'm saddened that more people didn't enjoy it the way I did.

And my comments on the rest of the thread since this is getting a bit spammy now:

@ Chaos Rings, awesome. Hope it's a western PSM release too. I still need to buy Tokyo Jungle, but I'm really looking forward to playing Chaos Rings. Media.Vision are an awesome developer (all the Wild ARMs titles).

@ Project Rainfall, sucks that Valkyria Chronicles is losing but hey ho. I'd rather it lost to Yakuza 5 than two Yakuza games that you can already buy in the west :P

I am miffed about Suikoden losing ground to Beyond the Labyrinth though, just because of what I've read about the game.  For a Tri-Ace title published by Konami, it sold absolutely abysmally in Japan, and I believe for good reason - the game is supposed to be trite.  Good premise, but rubbish game.  Ah well.

@ Worms, that's actually surprisingly awesome news. I thought Team 17 were going to take another tumble making some weird Worms title. I'm led to believe Revolution is the most well-received Worms game in quite a while. Looking forward to playing that on my Vita (and I'm glad I didn't buy Battle Islands and waited for this!)

I don't know if FFXIII just poisoned the well for too many people or if I'm just crazy, but I think XIII-2 was pretty amazing and wildly underrated. Maybe I'm just a sucker for dressing up monsters.

3 worms games in 1 year? This is getting ridiculous.

There's that PC game, iOS is exclusively getting a true "Worms 3". I wonder what Revolution Extreme will bring to the mix that's different. *edit* NM just read it's the PS3 games :D sweet as I only ever played the first "HD" one on XBLA.

Count me hyped though! Perfect for portable gaming and I don't have an iDevice so Worms 3 isn't an option right now :(

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Just wanted to suggest, he actually formally puts at the start of the review something like "we've already covered everything about the Jak Collection "HERE"" so this review is purely based on the transition to Vita. Just to make it clearer, I took it as a review of the overall package, which is why I thought 4/10 was ludicrously low (even the meta is about 7/10 though I think thats leaning towards the high side).

As for the port itself, even though I don't think it's as bad as you found it, it's still a joke to be released as anything other than a beta/freebie in that state. I just happened to enjoy being able to play Jak and Daxter on the move.

Disappointed by the last comment given the variety of systems I have and do game on. People who call this "The Church of the Vita Cult" obviously have their own issues.

So-seems i'm not the only one who has enjoyed ff13-2?
I'm no ff-gamer and i didn't like ff13 very much because it was too linear.I usually like linear games but within open world and rpg genre it is a sin.
ff 13-2 was a huge step in the right direction.lot of non linear elements ,dozens of hours of gameplay, tons of sidequests and improved ,dynamic gameplay + good graphics.
