After finishing The Last of Us, I'm feeling the need to play more from Naughty Dog and I've never tried Jak and Daxter. I played Daxter on PSP, but it wasn't even developed by them (I liked it though).

Has anyone here bought the recently released Vita version on PS Store? I wanna know if the different games in the trilogy can be downloaded separately (you can on the PS3 version, apparently).

You can on the EU store, but it's £19.99 for all 3, or £11.99 per game meaning you might as well get the trilogy.

I'm playing the first one at the moment. Forgot what a great game it was. Even with the poor frame rate the first one is still a lot of fun on Vita!

Seems a weird thing to say, and not particularly the type of Tekken I want on Vita, but still - I'd play it.  So do your bit to bring it across, Vitabros!

Also, that JRPG kickstarter - ripped the menus straight out of FF7 by the looks of it.  Not that I'm complaining.  But I'm not backing a kickstarter that "might" come to Vita.  Give it a solid stretch goal and confirmation and I might dive in.

P.S. Yes, Vita still doesn't have too many titles which appeal to the mainstream audience but that doesn't mean it can't appeal to the people who are here.  That's my contribution to the other discussion in this thread.

Vita has pandered to my tastes pretty well so far - JRPG's & platformers with a dabble of racing games a bit of third person shooting.  Sure, I'd like to have a fully-fledged Final Fantasy too, but I'd take Atelier & Tales of games over Call of Duty & Assassin's Creed any day of the week.

I realise there's plenty of discussion to be had about why Vita isn't selling but honestly it feels kind of redundant at this point.

I hate to look like a negative Nancy every time I post here, but that PS Vita Mega Pack isn't exactly great news to me. Sure, it's an amazing value, but it's starting to look like desperation from Sony. It reminds me of the PSPgo relaunch: buy a new console, get 10 games free! And we all know how the PSPgo ended...

More people seriously need to upgrade to Vita...

AND to keep demonstrating my inherent negativity, I have to say that, while I agree with DemoniOtaku, in this particular comparison the PSP version looks better.

Sorry, you people are free to hate me...

How in the world does the one on the right look better than the one on the left.

Kresnik, it sounds like it's reached the "stretch goal" to allow a Vita port, and they're actually waiting on Sony allowing it? Certainly reads like they're in discussions with Sony.

Aboout Tekken Revolution: I downloaded it already on PS3 but haven't tried, this could be actually interesting. I will download for PS Vita for sure if they do make a version for it.

That's just to display the goals, it says underneath it that it's not the menu design for the game.

@Runa
I'm quite happy with the vita lineup... sure it could be better and the 3ds does have more "big names" in the pipeline but none of these excite me (well maby pokemon a little but i already have like 5 games of that). YS, Tearaway and co. might not move as many units but it suits my gaming taste and that's all that matters to me. Also i'm looking forward to FF X HD since i never played the original.

got this from the gaf thread

i wouldn't exactly call it "discussion with sony" but it's getting there.

Yeah I thought he would have meant more than firing an email to Shahid. What happened to that amazing big 3rd party game that wasn't a port anyway?

So is Harada talking about Tekken Rev on the vita? He can get bent then. I want a new solid entry for the franchise on the vita. He has put the franchise on almost every damn thing but not on the vita still. I held out buying Tekken Tag 2 in the hopes they will bring it to vita cuz last year they had a rumor about it. If they don't...I'm not gonna buy another tekken. There are other fighting franchises that deserve my money

Also it's pretty much confirmed that SCEJA will have a pre-tgs event....well most probably it's going to be 100% on the ps4 so meh
