Thanks for the write up.  I hope the game looks a little better on the Vita's screen than in this screenshot.

Still, I'm glad to hear the FPS is bearable.  If I can tolerate it in New Little King's Story; then hopefully I'll be able to tolerate it for Jak & Daxter!

Oh yeah it looks MUCH better on the Vita than that screenshot. (actually looking over some other of my screenshots it seems that they all lot god awful compared to actuallt running on the Vita)

Also I played more of the 1st game and I can tell some of the sounds are either removed or maybe glitched but so far thats the only other negative for the game. I tried the 2nd game too and it does run alot better, nice and smooth FPS until alot of enemies are on screen I.E Saving Kor and little boy after you first escape. But even then its still pretty good!

I expect a lot of upcoming games to flop, as vita owners have already bought tons of games. I know that I personally won't be buying any games any time soon, as I need to first beat the ones that I've already bought.

Here's hoping for a brighter future.

Thanks man.  Do you mind keeping me updated with your thoughts on the game as you go through, particularly the performance?  I've played them all on PS2 so I just want to know how well they run on Vita.

Still, hearing that Jak 2 runs okay is promising.  Once the Collection drops to around £20 I suppose I'll invest; it'll be worth that to have Jak 2 on the go alone (it's easily my favourite of the trilogy).  I wonder if the game will ever get patched.

Where did you get the 50 million figure from?

Quite possibly out of my butt. During the Sony E3 conference, one presenter mentioned that the vita has an average 10 game ratio, so if they've sold 5m consoles so far, then they've sold around 50m games, right? Or is I stupid? (math has never been my strong point).
