Thankfully given the recent info the new FF game for the Vita will probably be FF Type-0 port and not anymore Dissidia. Seriously, its a sucky fighter, i dont get what some of you see in it. I would be extremely disappointed to see resources going to waste making another one.

I felt the same when I first experienced it. Let it to dust for a couple days, and just by chance found myself playing it again and feeling a lot different.

You just need to emrace the gameplay and its mechanics..

Back on topic to the games at E3. Ys Celceta and Toukiden (mostly because it seems similar in art style to soul sacrifice) are the 2 games im more interested in for the Vita this year.
Killzone and Tearaway look good but they arent my cup of tea.

I guess all in all its not too bad (though not comparable to how excited i am for pokemon+zelda+bravely default on the 3DS). I just hope they announce exciting new stuff soonish.

It's a miracle they even got the game running on the Vita let alone running well. From the gameplay I've seen it looks bearable but regardless its day one buy for me!

I'll be keeping my pre order. He does actually say Jak II and III have decent frame rates, it's just the first one that suffers. But if I remember correctly, the PS2 version suffered a similar fate in the more complex parts of the game. I think there is too much direct comparison to the PS3 when Vita games get reviewed and so the expectation level is set too high.

I'm just confused why Jak was the first HD Collection they chose to bring across. I'm guessing maybe because it's the one that sold the best on PS3?

But it's also far, far the most complex series. I assume BlowoverKing was referring to that video (I'll have to dig it up) where Mass Media were talking about making the PS3 version and saying how specific the code is to run on the PS2, so it was a nightmare to get working. I presume it's less difficult this time since they're porting the PS3 version this time, but still. Sly would've been a better place to start.

Anyway, I can handle a few framerate dips. So long as it isn't as horrible a port as Ratchet: Q Force was (and judging by that review, it's not) then I'll still be getting it. Then I'll have 5 different Jak games on my Vita!

Also, Dissidia 012 is one of my favourite PSP games so far so I'd very much like to see a Vita sequel. But I'd much rather see a Type-0 port than anything else.

So, how is Vita doing?

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Wanted to re-tag this thread, so I will point out:

http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-vita/atelier-totori-plus-the-adventurer-of-arland

Atelier Totori Plus finally has 4 reviews on Metacritic and joins the 79 club with WipEout; Need for Speed; Street Fighter etc!

You mean, it joins the "would have been 90% on any other format" club!

Vita reviews are a joke!
