Well IGN seem to look for any flaw possible with Vita software. It seems to hurt them to just be positive about anything on the system.

I started to read the IGN preview having in mind how they like to focus on the bad things when talking about a PS Vita game, so it didn't surprised me at all. Honestly if these are the "flaws" of the game, I'm very very pleased with what Guerrilla Cambridge has been doing.

Flaws: The game is too good.

What the hell has become of journalism?

If is as on consoles, long missions and hardcore experience, then they complain.. if it isn't like a full console game and is a bit by it missions (UNIT13) they complain... :/

what ever happened to that boss at the start of soul sacrifice. seriously its used as a tutorial but that was it. if they make a second one they really need to step up the scope, variety and level design (the world is flat 99% of the time). i would love if the game had some epic set piece battles like GoW. anyway i finally got the dlc, it seemed Australia got it late so i might play it more often again (slowly working towards my first platinum)

I've never known a game take so long to "click" as Soul Sacrifice, didn't "get it" at all in the demo. And it took replaying the entirety of the opening chapter to truly start getting into it in the full game.

I'm loving it right now, though I still can't kill those slime things! haha I came so close this morning! But I got stuck under it and it finished me off just before I could heal. I never realised sacrificing enemies replenishes your offerings though, I always used them for health in the arch-fiend battles. So that might help too.

yeah if your going for an attack focused charecter you can sacrifice to replenish and then use a heal spell, much more effective. i got it immediately but have drastically changed my style from the demo. i play very defensively now

I found the sheer variety of spells etc completely overwhelming at first and there isn't really much in the way of guidance in the game as to what to do with everything. But once I sat down and played it properly it started to make sense.

I've now managed to get a few trophies for boosting and creating new spells. I think the main thing I didn't get was playing previous levels to farm for items/level up and unlock new sigils. I get grinding in open world games but it was pretty alien in a chapter based game.

I can't wait to switch ISP in a couple of weeks so I'll have an internet connection stable enough for some network games. (currently my 4-8mbps line is running at... 0.3mbps! >_

Good spot, I've ordered it, but it's "awaiting stock from supplier" which usually means you wait a few weeks, then they turn around and email and say they no longer have it at the price you ordered it for but you can re-order at the new price.

I'll give them one more chance...

RUNA made a article based on his experience on Soul Sacrifice, It was supossed to be a review but he Gave up on the game after 20 hours... I think half of the things He say are true... I was expecting more exploration and more variety of enemies and missions, the stages aren't very big, and when are big enough they just send You to Kill X enemy or recollect X quantity of Souls...

But on the graphics being at the level of a PSP title, I know that aren'tthe best of Vita, but He's exaggerating here... and about the type of attacks, He think is just tree type of them.. when tehre are arround 30+ types, that you go collecting if You get the best score in some missions (summon, regenarating, power ups, defense ups, to atract enemies, to doge or run faster, mines, traps, armors, etc). And complaining about "how long" take to summon a weapon in some times, that's because He didn't get the better spells... Complaining about the story of the game, because You don't get cinematics for every boss and enemy on the lore...

The game could have been better, and I wouldn't have score it above 8/10... but still is a lot enjoyable, but despite the dissapointment of some things is one of the refference game of the PSVita... is just more based on bost battle, how He said on the article, is about the climax...
