So how is that Jacob Jones game? Is it really worth the time or should I pass on it?

I've checked some reviews and people say it is a good game, a bit short but I think 4 hours of playtime is plenty for a 2.99$ title, sometimes you don't get that much with a 60$ game. The artstyle looks great. They also say that the puzzles can be quite difficult which I like.

with a 4.81 scoring (out of 5)in the german psn store it is the highest rated game with persona 4 and stranger(standard version).

i think risk is low to be dissapointed as the game is pretty cheap.

My review: It is fantastic.

Seriously this game is amazing and it is 2.99$. The artstyle is seriously great. Only half an hour in but I can say that it will be an enjoyable experience.

It may be too difficult for some though. I am gettin a Demon's Souls vibe to it. The scenes between puzzles are also a bit long so if you're impatient it may not be for you. I am enjyoing them though.

Its more like 10 minutes or less, but its enough to get a short look at the combat.

Cant say im impressed. I'm gonna wait and see. The player on the video sucks and it seems very early in the game, so its not enough to tell how good the game will get.

i just got a vita!!!

those memory card prices made me cry though :( had to get the 32gb for obvious reasons

now off to persona 4 :)

Congratulations and welcome! What are your initial thoughts about the system?

it feels really really good to hold, much more confortable then the 3ds, the sound is a little low though, but everythig else seems perfect

plus!! it has finalfantasy 1-9 on the ps store!!!! even the epic finalfantasy 4 remake !!!

anyways thanks to the psp library "yes i never owned a psp" i can see myself getting so much out off it, even if the vita titles are a little lackluster, plus i can finally play lunar silver star harmony!! :D

dude buy Trails in the sky for your Vita off the PSN store, one the best RPGs there is (in my opinion) great story, really likable characters and a fun turn based battle system!

PSN ID: Stokesy

Add me if you want but let me know youre from this website

That gameplay reminds me SO much of Summoner. Which isn't a good thing, since I found the combat pretty boring.

So I downloaded that Jacob Jones game. Wow the graphics are nice and the art style is great. It's basically a Professor Layton-lite game though maybe subsequent episodes will make it a bit more substantial. Could shape up to be another hidden gem for the system. It's only £1.59 on the UK store and I'd say it's definitely worth a try at that.

Pocket Gamer's review sums it up quite nicely. They gave it 7/10.

Just bought it for $2.99 this morning on PSN. The game is oh so charming and the simple minimalistic artstylee comes together really well. They almost remind me of claymations or Bob the Builder toy models. I LOVE IT. I think more games(especially portable) should utilize the chibi-esque style. I think it evokes a chemical reaction within me that makes me giddy like a child.

Greatness Awaits

PSN:Forevercloud (looking for Soul Sacrifice Partners!!!)

I'm considering a Vita again because it's on sale for $199.99 right now with a 4 GB memory card and a game I will probably sell and Persona 4 Golden is on sale as well for $29.99 right now. One problem is, I would like to get caught up on the PSP library that I missed out on as well, but most of the games I would want aren't even on the PSN Store like Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, the Star Oceans, and Metal Gear Ac!d 2 (there may be others that I'm forgetting). Also, I'm a huge JRPG fan so having the PSOne Classics playable on the Vita is nice as well as the other JRPG's on it or coming to it, but the PSP can also play those PSOne Classics. So based on that, I'm not sure if it's worth getting a Vita or maybe I should just get a PSP. Or maybe I should wait until E3 to see what Sony has planned for the Vita.

One thing is for sure, if Tales of Innocence R and/or Tales of Hearts R were to get localized to NA, then I would buy a Vita in a heartbeat. I get every system that Tales games release on (in North America).
