GT6 needed to come to PS3. They needed more money out of the PS3 engine for GT5 and a lot of the Gran Turismo audience are only just upgrading to PS3. PS4 launch would also cannibalize Drive Club sales.

Also geez, took em long enough to make a PS3 GT... we needed another before 2020 :p

Lack of Vita version however is a dissapointment.

Lack of vita version seriously makes no sense. Whoever is in charge of the vita is clealy an idiot. Indie games are awesome, but they do close to nothing in terms of hardware sales. Then again, they might have truly given up on the vita.

Here's a Putty Squad trailer for the meantime.

I seem to recall having an absolute blast with Super Putty on the SNES when I was little. This looks fantastic. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Another download game that looks perfect for Vita. Though I noticed that GAME have this listed as a physical release too. So it'd be interesting to see if that happens like did with Impossible Mission (a remake of a Master System game from the 80s) on PS2/GameCube/Xbox and PSP.

PSP got his Gran Turismo game 6 years after the launch why did you expect a Gran Turismo in PSV just after the launch of the console.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Gran Turismo PSP was annouced at the same time as the PSP and had an April 2005 release date but kept getting delayed due to GT5.

no-won't cannibalize if you do it the right way.

1) release drive club as launch title(keep gt6 a secret)

2)3 month after ps4/drive club release the gt6 announcement and release in march 2014 for ps4=new hardware sales momentum.

3)in august 2014 the  gt6 announcement for ps3-release sept. 2014

by releasing gt6 for ps3 the ps3 sales may cannibalize ps4 sales as this game is selling systems.people who may have bought a ps4 may buy a ps3 or simply won't buy a ps4 as they can play this game on ps3.

this may create a situation similar to wii-wii u where the old system is selling better as people see no reason to buy the new system.Selling an old dying system is not intelligent.

another problem.gt6 will look pretty good on ps3 and it won't be easy to make the ps4 version look much better.many casual gamers may be confident with the ps3 version.

I think that everybody that wanted to buy a PS3 because of GT game, already did that. Since Drive Club is their PS4 take on serious racers, I actually think it's an OK move from them. They'll keep PS3 relevant for a while longer, and early adopters will jump on a new IP.

Uncharted Unearthed coming to PS Vita:

I had no idea what it was so I had to youtube it.  Extremely low quality Uncharted clone, as the name implied.  Developed in Saudi Arabia, of all places.

Perhaps it'll be one of those "so bad that it's good" games.

What is matter is when the game will be released Sony could announce later a Gran Turismo in PSVita and released it in 2-3 years

Wow, even Saudis give all the villains Arab accents and all the heroes American ones.

But yeah, last time we heard about this game it was coming to every platform under the sun. I'm not really surprised it's announced for Vita, too. I will be somewhat surprised if it actually shows up.
