I mentioned earlier that my friend managed to pre-order UC at his local best buy for 24.99, maybe a deal like that might come again soon :/?

Other than that, you might as well wait or get another game with a lower price tag.

Oh I'm still getting a Vita. I'm just pissed that Sony is experimenting with $50 handheld games.

I'll just pre-order another game.

I've got Ruin pre-ordered and paid off. That should tide me over. Might up my Memory Card pre-order to a 16 gb instead of the 8gb, since the prices went down.

Plus I have Mass Effect 3 in March. Got the N7 Collector's Edition. I will probably move my GA money over to Dragon's Crown.

Just imho but you are right. I'm never paying full retail prices for few hours long single player games.  Fortunatly in Europe everything comes down to below 20 pounds rather quickly.

I know that smartphones don't and won't get an experience like Uncharted, but $50 for one game or 50 .99¢ games that equal one game? I'm going with the 50 games.

But since it will likely be about $40 (no tax) on the PStore I'll likely get it there. Which could be Sony's motive. Retail is to expensive, so buy straight from us.

Well i don´t give a Sh*t about how much Vita is Selling in Japan.. i still want mine!... I'm thinking on buying the Starter kit with the headphones, others things and the 4GB MC... and a 16gb MC... the 4GB for PSP games and the 16Gb MC for vita games... better couldn´t be eh?

Games i'm with Gravity Rush, Rayman Origins and Blazblue... Sounds Shapes looks intersting...

And you guys, with what are You buying your Vita?

DoYou Want DOZENS OF NO GAEMZ?! then... Visit the Official PlayStation Vita Tread

@euphoria14 -The Remote Play will be day one feature on the Vita for western release, that's for sure... but still will be lacking in resolution.. will be 320x242 as the PSP native resolution.. and later updated to the vita's native resolution... maybe when the feature is released it have the Vita`s resolution already... so just we have to wait... (i'm exited with taht feature too.. but i want more awesomes games first)

The plan is a 8-16GB memory card, gravity rush and possibly ModNation Racers.

It seems that certain games on the Vita will be having an online pass, just like what publishers and developers are doing on the consoles.

For those who will be picking up Hot Shots Golf on the Vita via a retail store, an online pass voucher code will already be included in the game. Gamers who buys a game used will have to purchase the online pass via the PlayStation Store, assuming the voucher code is already used. In this case, Hot Shots Golf for the Vita has an online pass for 900 yen.

However, for those who buys the game on the PSN will have to buy it separately. How do you feel now that the Vita is joining the Online Pass bandwagon? Annoyed?

Maybe I am reading this wrong, but does that last bit read like I think it does, which is that if you buy the game discounted on PSN it does not include the online pass? If so then that explains some of the lower prices...

Can anyone confirm?

Edit - Found this pic on GameInformer and had to post it because this screen and this game are just sooooooo beautiful!

So buying the game off of the store is like buying a pre-owned game? Sony is at the "fucking it up" game AGAIN!

KAZ!

yeah, that is what I got from that quote too.

Like I said before, the bad news just keeps rolling in.

Now I won't want to touch the digital titles... unless they are discounted and come fully featured.

Seriously, this just makes me want to pirate the shit out of this handheld... -__-

They seriously need to turn this crap around before February 22nd or my $270 will go elsewhere.

Never before have I become so frustrated leading up to a console/handheld's launch after being so incredibly excited.

There is never a reason to pirate games.

Yes this does suck however. I'm just not going to be buying that many games on the Vita now. I'm going to stay around the $30 range.

Actually there are.

How else do you think I got to play Soma Bringer on the DS?

Well for me a single game like Tactics Ogre/Valkyria Chronicles/Wipeout is worth that cash lot more than bunch of android games.

Even the famous Game dev story was fun for one few hours long game and had nothing to interest you in second playthrough and even less than that during third time. And you won't find 39 other titles with the same class and appeal.

So I don't mind paying for something that will last for 40+ hours but Golden Abyss which is 8-10 hours no multiplayer experiences is big no-no for 50$.
