Forums - Nintendo - New Wii Zapper Bundle

I bought a pair of Nyko Perfect Shot pistol shells for my Shooter games. This add on is a million times better than the Zapper. I play UC, Ghost Squad and MoHH2 with absolutely no trouble, in fact the game is more enjoyable.
If anyone is interested in hearing more here is the link to IGN's review.

ON topic: If this does come to America I'll buy it if only to have for gun shells to play Ghost squad with. :)

looks to me like Sega and Nintendo are becoming butt budies : )

I think the deal was Nintendo uses Sonic for SSBB, Sega uses Mario for M&S. That deal makes sense. Works for both parties, although I think Sega got the better deal. M&S does not sell unless their is Mario in it. SSBB would sell regardless, Sonic just adds to the hype.

As long as Sega is out of the hardware business and publishing exclusives on Nintendo consoles, then what is good for Sega is good for Nintendo.

More third party publishers help, particularly if that publisher shovels crap like Sonic the Hedgehog (46%) for the 360 and PS3, while saving Secret Rings (71%) for the Wii.

Downside is that the grip configuration is reversed from actual tactical carbines/submachine guns. For a righty, the left hand is always in the forward grip position for the best shooting platform (stance). With the zapper, either you tuck your left hand against your chest to keep the controller close for stability, or hold it at arm's length which is not the best for long sessions. It's awkward even if only because I'm used to the real thing.

Wow :P that sucks pretty hard! Good thing for once that Im a lefty though :) Anyway, what makes it so that you cant change the grip? With the "real thing" its just to hold the gun as you wish (and as a lefty look out for the hot shells :D)

At least 62 million Wii sold by the end of 09 or my mario avatar will get sad

You can't move the nunchuk grip forward. You can always just unclip it I suppose, but why have the rear grip at all then?
Otherwise, I find myself holding the thing against my chest, which I'd never do in real life (obvious reason, recoil).
