Have fate in the hacking community. They'll give you what Nintendon't.
I never bothered with Wii homebrew but WiiU controller might will be the reason to get it working on the PC.

Copied from Nintendo's website: The new controller incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 touch screen and traditional button controls, including two analog Circle Pads. This combination removes the traditional barriers between games, players and the TV by creating a second window into the video game world. The rechargeable controller includes a Power button, Home button, +Control Pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, L/R buttons and ZL/ZR buttons. It includes a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, rumble feature, camera, a microphone, stereo speakers, a sensor strip and a stylus. |
It has the minimum that my smart phone has. I am point blank asking if they are going to trick out a controller like this, then why not go full throttle in giving it online capabilities regardless of whether the console is turned on and apps like the Chevrolet app which allows you to unlock your car remotely?
If they half-it, then it is just another attempt at attention grabbing from Sony and Microsoft. I would say gimmick, but I need to know more before I make the call whether this is a trojan horse or a trojan clown.

Oh yeah, there will be leaks I have faith in it.
Where my faith is muddled is whether Nintendo is going to be honest in saying this controller is revolutionary and meant to stick it to all the tablet PCs or whether this is just another Wii remote type gimmick where they hope to use it's novelty to sell consoles along with a 2D mario platformer.
I am hoping the former where Nintendo comes out unglued, desperate and honest in saying this is our last chance, yet with the 3DS as an indicator Nintendo may just give what they are required to give and nothing more leaving a tool with so much potential only half realized.
