Microsoft has revealed the official box art for their upcoming Xbox 360 game, Halo 4. The image features Master Chief staring straight at the view with debris flying towards him. You can see the logos for 343 Industries (who is the new developer for the series) and Microsoft Game Studios. Although the box art image is a bit small, Microsoft did provide a larger image featuring the same artwork.

Halo 4 was announced today via a trailer at the end of Microsoft’s Electronic Entertainment Expo press conference. The upcoming first-person shooter is the start of a new trilogy for the franchise. It is slated for a holiday 2012 release.

I don't know... the box art looks pretty generic to me. :/

Very early to be releasing boxart and I do notlike the 4 in the logo.

This can't be real, looks like a bad photoshop job. and who releases box art for a just-announced game that's over a year away from release anyway?

Honestly, I agree with manuel, that looks a little generic. I can't imagine Microsoft would make the boxart this bland for their flagship title. Hopefully it's a placeholder like you say Nsanity.
