The end to this hacking nightmare seems closer to ending now. Thank goodness, all these hackers have really done a number on Sony.
Xbox fanboy= an individual who is loyal to Microsoft or games that fall under the Xbox brand.
PS3 fanboy= an indivdual who is loyal to Sony or games that fall under the Playsation brand.
Wii Fanboy= Wait, there is a third console?
By the gods everything seems to be going right. Maybe the rapture really is coming lol

This thread is a sad confirmation. Not the hacker, but the fact that most of those that replied seemingly didn't even bother to follow the link to read the story first hand. Instead deciding to go off of the title alone. I suggest that any person wanting to post in this thread might want to take a second to actually read the story. Then let it simmer for a few moments before you chime in on the subject.
A hacker groupie getting caught isn't much of a accomplishment. There are tens of thousands of those to be found on the web. Your better off emptying the ocean with a teaspoon if you think this is progress. Actually it is probably the opposite of progress. Failure to secure the lead operators isn't likely to deter them. All it is likely to do is make them more bold, and probably more malicious about what they are doing. This is how escalation works. Yeah it just got real. Real dangerous for everyone these guys are likely to hit while swinging at Sony.
Which seems to be the case, because they aren't just bragging about stealing account information anymore. Making a point has moved on to releasing real dangerous information. Such as the source code they have decided to make public. I cringe to think what they have been doing inside of Sony networks with that kind of access, and that is like throwing a bucket of blood in shark infested waters.
Seriously there is nothing good about this news at all. You shouldn't celebrate this you should actually be quite concerned by these events. Leaked source codes, botched raids, and the fact that Sony has been this severely compromised should just plain scare the shit right out of you. I am just not getting how you guys are this detached from all the shit that is going down around you.

stop being so negative and such a downer. One of these hacker's getting caught is an accomplishment,as that rarely happens. that's like saying arresting any criminal is'nt an accomplishment because there's thousands of them on the street. You have to keep trying and trying to fight crime and these hacker's. You can't just sit back and say have at it everybody.
Man i was hoping this was true.

I bet it'll be easy to get past his firewall.
(I'm not very good at this
)
Now that they have one, he'll start spilling the beans about his friends.
