Forums - Sony - So PSN screwed me out of one of my free games

With all of the errors popping up with PSN as of late, everyone says it's due to traffic and whatnot, I was going to download my second game, being Wipeout HD and it took a long time until it finally said error, I was like okay, lets hit it again, "this selection cannot be processed at this time" I say to myself oh well maybe I have to select my game now, it says I must select to download my second game which was the menu I was just at, so I think to myself well maybe if I back out and come back in it will work, I back out and it disappears like the first did when I downloaded Infamous, FML and I'm out one game -_-

I assume you already checked in account manager and stuff for ur games and saw if it was there or not. Otherwise call customer support and explain, I am sure they can scan your system somehow.

P.S. I never get tired of looking at your sig lol.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

Yep.

Supposed to have like a month with this right?  Might wait a while yet to rehook up my PS3 to the internet so as to avoid such a problem myself.  Busy with new work anyway.

Q: I no longer have the option to choose my free Welcome Back games. What can I do?

A: If you navigate away from the Welcome Back section of the store without choosing your free games or exit the store completely you may need to follow the below in order to choose and download your free games.

On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”

You will be taken to the store to choose your remaining free games.

Haha actually I just beat the system, I remembered I had a second PSN account (one linked to Europe) got two free games on it and apparently they have Quest for Booty and Wipeout HD thanks for the help though... might actually still do it just to snag Dead Nation while I'm at it ^^

And if this doesn't work then go to "Download list" in account management> Transaction Management.

Yeah why so angry. They addressed these issues on the blog in the welcome back blog post. Also as someone said already if you have 2 differant accounts from before the PSN outage you can select a futher 2 games on that account as well as take the 30 free PS PLUS days and get whatevers free on that aswel.

I guess that's... one way to do it.  Wondered if that would work.

You have a PSP right?

After I read this threadI was trying to restart my PSN account with my PSP...

until I found out that the PSP update I needed was bigger then my entire freaking PSP card even if it didn't have saves on it?

There anyway to directly update to the PSP?   Why it requires a memory card... and a memory card bigger then the default 2 gig memory card... i have no freaking idea.

Whoa friggin' 2 gigs?  That's just outlandish, I mean I have a 4 gig but I've also got PS1 games saved to it... no way I'm deleting some of that stuff off there just to get an update...
