Update: Those curious about the Welcome Back program can read our PlayStation Welcome Back program article that we posted this morning. It is indeed live, and you can start downloading your free games at your leisure. Every Tuesday, Sony drops a bunch of new stuff onto the PlayStation Network. Those with a PlayStation 3 or PSP can download these goodies, which include PSN games, movies, themes and more. While the Official PlayStation Blog outlines these updates in full each week, we thought we'd help truncate the good news into something more digestible. The Tuesday schedule has since been disrupted due to the PSN outage, but will come back shortly. In the meantime, Sony is catching up with more frequent updates. I know what question you're asking yourself. "Wasn't the PlayStation Store just updated on Wednesday?" Why yes, it was. But apparently Sony didn't think that was quite enough. So the company thought they'd update it again two days later. And though not quite as robust as the last update, this one is still impressive, and still totes far more content than a standard Tuesday update would. In addition to all of those new PSN games, there are five new PSP games. You'll notice that four of them are also available for download on PS3. There are a couple of new Minis for you to choose from. There was a huge PlayStation Plus update back on Wednesday. And here's another fairly sizeable one. Again, there's only one new PSone Classic. And some new DLC... First, the PS3/PSN DLC... Only one game gets any new PSP content. Lots of new discounts, too. To round things out, there's only one new demo. There are no new demos for PSP.
