Forums - Gaming - Which controller!? PS3 or 360?

I slightly prefer the ps3 controller. It feels more natural to have the analog sticks in the same place and the controller is a lot lighter. Though the analog triggers are better on the 360 controller.

The 360 controller is a lot sturdier, better for throwing down in frustration. DS3 breaks too easy.

I prefer the 360 controller as it is slightly larger and has stiffer analog sticks......now I just need a newer 360 controller w/ adjustable D-Pad :)

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

How come a lot of people are calling it DS3 controller? Anyways I choose PS3 controller for better overall use, but thr 360 controller is more comfortable . . . And I don't even like the 360

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

I prefer the PS3 controller, it just feels better in my hands. Maybe its because for 3 generations its been the same and I have gotten accustomed to it. As for the 360 controller, I have no complaints about it, I actually dont even use a Microsoft one, I bought a Razer Onza and its the best 360 controller available IMO.

DualShock 3.

I was actually wondering the same imbarassingly enough.

I prefer the 360 controller.

The PS3 one doesn't fit comfortably in my hands; it's too small and not ergonomic enough.

It's also quite a bit past it's prime by this point, being a PS1-era design.

What the hell does ergonomic mean?

On another note I understand if the controller doesn't suit your big hands, but I can't see sony changing the controller either, it feels to much as a sony staple, unless sony wants to unveil the boomerang controller from I think e3 '05.

I think the X360 controller is super comfortable, second only to the awesome grips of the GameCube controller

I'd always heard about how its D-Pad sucked (long time ago), after trying it I absolutely agree! :(

DS is about the same, less comfortable grips but better D-Pad, the triggers are convex (curving outward, bulging out) which sucks and the analog stick is the same

360's shoulder triggers are convex (like GC controller) which I love and the analog stick are also convex which is great

So X360 > DualShock imo

@bolded: Ergonomics is the study of designing equipment and devices that fit the human body (googled it lol)

I don't think making improvements is ever a bad thing - If they can make it better, why not?
