Really interesting article on why renewables aren't feasable.

So, in other words: people don't think of what is best in the long run, and saving money is more important than having a planet to live on.

A nice article with some great points. Renewable energies are never going to be feasable because of cost. At this time, it's not an option to have all power as renewable. We need to however do more to be less reliant on fossil fuels and in time cost of production and technology will make renewable ways of making energy not only more efficient but cheaper too.

Sadly, with fossil fuels being a finite resource we have to do something. If we reply on Nuclear to power countries this may allow more fuel to go into cars but regulations on Nuclear power will stop that being possible for developing nations.

It's an overly complicated issue with many ifs and buts. If we do no invest heavily in renewable power sources we won't have power, investment brings better technology and cheaper production.

Hmm, pie.

You contradict yourself in this paragraph.

When it's their own money, yes saving that money is more important.

It's easy to act like a world saviour and agitate for public spending when you are poor like a rat.

Your right, I do. I had my full stop and stuff in the wrong place. How's this:

The idea and gist being that at this current time it's not, and never will be, feasable but it will be in the future with the correct and right investment.

Hmm, pie.

then the humans will meet there end by 2075

The ideea is that if money isn't invested in developing efficient methods to exploit renewable energy, in the long run it will have a huge negative impact on the world, especially in terms of the envirnment. The only people who are against this is conservatives who lobby for big oil companies (which incidentally they may have financial stakes in). In a post apocalyptic scenario, I doubt your money will be of much worth.

I'm sorry, I just can't help myself, butyou went and contradicted yourself again. The underlined part ruins the cohesiveness of your sentence.

Well if we want to all surive past 2100 we have to either

1. Take up renewal energy and enforce global 1 child policy.

or

2. Mass genocide and reduce global population by 75%.

We also have to stop deforestation, stop global fishing, stop global meat product and live off grains and food crops for the next 50-100 years until fish supplies grow and forests and de desertification occurs.

But in todays world none of the above will happen except mass genocide that will occur in the food riots when food runs out in developing nations like africa, india and many asian countries.
