Fleshlight adapter for Kinect!?!?!

"You ARE the Fleshlight"
There will not be a BluRay peripheral for the 360 ever. I feel compelled to list the reasons, but I shouldn't have to. Most of you should understand these things already, and know why it just isn't going to happen. Not even sure why anyone would want it to happen.
1. Microsoft has expressed nothing, but disdain for BluRay. They simply hate the format. The reason is unimportant.
2. Microsoft didn't incorporate high def into the early models of the consoles. They have a spartan lay out. Do not support HDMI, and that is why anyone who actually bought the HD-DVD player for their console knows while it worked fine it just wasn't a great solution. No technical reason why a early gen owner would opt out of a stand alone player.
3. This isn't three years ago anymore. The format doesn't need to piggyback on existing hardware to reach a lower price point. With stand alone players retailing for under a hundred dollars, and probably fifty by years end. There is no financial incentive to go peripheral.
4. The 360 already has a plethora of high def options. See Zune, Netflix, and Hulu.
5. The console can already play movies internally. This doesn't exactly address a basic need.
6. BluRay might not have saturated the market, but it is a good bet that a large percentage of 360 owners already have a stand alone player.
7. Given how the HD-DVD faired, and no it wasn't a bad product. Well the term glutton for punishment springs to mind.

Seriously this is IGN we are talking about. You really need to dial your expectations down a few notches. Probably some mid range game, or some controller peripheral. Which doesn't want to get buried in E3 news.
My guesses:
-Kinect controller that will be optional only and never required to play.
-xbox handheld, like a preview for E3 to generate excitement.
-A completely new product that will be for the casual audience, something to do with Skype or other media.
I just want some cool hybrid games.
Don't get why this hasn't been the major push. When we got analog sticks the D-Pad wasn't thrown away, so why not maintain that principle? An AAA adventure game with special Kinect functions would seriously make me pick one up.

Well since i don't use my xbox for watching tv this announcement wouldn't be all to exctiting to me but im sure other people will find it as great news.
Not expecting anything too cool, as others have said, anything that great would be saved for E3. At best it's gonna be some Kinect peripheral.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
