There have been some issues regarding the Omnia specifically actually with regards to updates, but I think it's about fixed by now. Hopefully it will remain so when Mango comes around.

I'm waiting for a Mango phone myself, plus I really want to see what Nokia does with WP7 before I jump in.

Yeah I know. I could have waited, but my contract renewal was  yesterday.

The choice is a bit easier for me since I can't afford one right now and there isn't support for danish until Mango, so I can wait.

I picked up a Samsung Focus back in January. It has the best operating system of any phone I've ever used. It is truly amazing. It's pretty to look at, it's extremely simple to use, and like you said it's fast. I've let my friends tinker with my phone and they all wanted one. One (who had just gotten a new Droid that day) wished she would have been able to pick one up instead. Microsoft did a good job with these phones and operating system, hopefully it catches on and people realize how awesome these phones really are. Love my Samsung Focus.
