hope it doesnt happen, not cause i want it to be list wars, the game has been in dev time too long, it needs nothing to stifle it. Make the PS3 version, release it and then make a 360 port and release it, or even a Cafe version

How do we know that SE hasn't already been developing it for 360 as well? I doubt when they announced FFXIII was multiplatform, that they only recently started making it multiplatform. I bet you, if this game does go multiplat out of the box, then they started structuring the game to work on both HD consoles just after FFXIII was released (since it sold well on 360 too). This could be why the game has been in development for so long.
