But, the marketing machine will be coming out to push this thing like mad on people, just like they did with the map packs.  See here is one salvo in their market machine at work:

Looks like the same old steaming pile of poo, thus yep sales galore for nothing.

Activision keep on shoving that in front of the faces of the Call of Duty fanbase will get them to subscribe, even while everyone else who isn't thinks it sucks.  The spin there is like that is THE place to do community with Call of Duty.  And I do believe Activision did pay the guy to come up with it.  If not that, then there is definitely a lot of sucking up going on.
