I have already ordered the Epic edition...

But that looked great, I really can't wait for September, between this and Star Wars on blu-ray, I will be a very very happy boy.

Having said that, I hope for a "Mad World" style trailer, as that is still stuck in my head, and most of the reason that I bought an Xbox

Incredible graphics, good song (Black Sabbath - War Pigs), can't wait! Probably game of the year.

To me there`s just something special about Gears 1. Seems more... natural and challenging! That`s probably it. :D
Although Gears 2 is a pretty awesome game aswell.

Same. I'm in it for the campaign. I don't have Live so i've never played a multi game on either.


What i meant to say is i never played Gears 1 online and only played Gears 2 for like 5 minutes! :D  It was part of that 30 days free program. But since i also don`t have Live there`s no online playing for me aswell. Honestly i rather have local multiplayer so i can play with my brothers!

That was a very well done trailer. Not the best I've seen, but still.

Not bad, not bad at all. I definitely wasn't expecting to hear Sabbath (War Pigs)!

I saved that video to my phone and the more I watch, the more I like.  I noticed a serious lack of Cole and Baird.  Hope nothing bad happened to them.  Graphics are INSANE!

You kidding? Gears 2 was a great improvement over 1 graphically big big improvement. As for this game, its not really an improvement over Gears 2, but at least now it doesn't have any texture pop ins nor as many glitches as Gears 2 did. And i still think today that Gears 2 is like top 5 best looking console games of this generation. Crysis 2 first no doubt followed by KZ3, 2 and then Uncharted 2, but thats it, no other game looks better (although UC3 will).

Don't do it.  A game as big as Gears 3 is going to have people hate on it, even if it was forged by the gods of Mount Olympus.  You know it's awesome.  I know it's awesome.  Don't fall into the trap where people debate how shitty the game is because the blade of grass in stage 3 didn't have enough dew on it   This game is in contention for best looking game ever (in my opinion).  If somebody refuses to see that, it's their problem, not yours or mine.
