They can't name it the PSP 2 because the non-informed customer is going to think that the Nintendo 3DS is more advanced, yea I know it sounds kinda dumb but it is truth, Microsoft did the same thing when they name their console the Xbox 360 instead of "Xbox 2" to compete with the PS3
