Finally, after two days of gruelling fights, starting from challenge 170 onwards, I managed to complete the Challenge Tower today.

There are some seriously epic fights in there, albeit very cheap and hard ones. The one with Shang Tsung vs Baraka&Sindel&Shao Khan was extremely hard, the seesaw HP battles were annoying as f***,  the 3x Shao Khan and 3x Goro fights were more cheap than hard, and the last challenge, 300, was tough as nails. Goro and Kintaro weren't that hard, but Mileena seemed to be on speed drugs >_<.

Has anyone else finished the Challenge Tower in any version of MK? (I'm playing the PS3 version).

Didn't skip any as well, as I was trying to get every koin possible for the Krypt. Now I have a surplus of them >_<.

I wanted the achievement for doing it without skipping, otherwise I might have been tempted quite a few times. And same here, massive surplus of Koins and nothing to spend them on :(

It's a shame that the prizes of the Kript aren't that good. Other than secondary costumes and extra fatalities, everything else is a gallery fest.

Have you managed to get the hidden kombatant trophies? I'm trying to get klassic jade, but Shang Tsung always seems to get a hit on the second round, screwing my chances for a double flawless >_<.

You guys fail at gathering coins.

Flawless victories in single player mode gives 1000 Koins!

You guys suck so bad at fighting games you can't pull off flawless victories like yours truly  :#

 

On topic, I got to like 90 (never skipping)  before I got bored out of my mind. They were simply too easy.

I only tried the ladders after finishing the Challenge Tower, so I didn't knew about the 1000 koins flawless victory xD.

My game progression has been: Story mode -> Challenge Tower -> Tag Ladder (for trophy) and now the normal Ladders

Just the one, haven't looked up the requirements for the others yet. Working my way through arcade ladder with each player at the moment, since the online play is still pretty laggy :/

Same here, will only try the online after doing the ladders for every character (going to take a while). Also trying to get a babality on the bosses is awesome, so far only managed to get it all the way to Goro/Kintaro.
