Forums - Sony - MGS: Peace Walker is coming to PS3

I sank about 40 hours into the PSP one and thought it was absolutely brilliant... as a portable experience. I don't know how well the mission structure will be accepted on a home console. The missions are very short and you do cover the same areas a few times.

Oh well. If you never had or will have a PSP, must be good news :)

Definitely gonna buy it again! It was a great game, but I didn't really like the controls. So, good news for me^^

Sorry if this sounds mean, but that may be the worst analysis I've ever heard of why anyone would be upset. Kojima doesn't give a crap about this leak. This is a port. You think they actually spent time remaking all these PS3 to PSP games? Of course not, they did what they did with the GOW Collection: took a port team and upped the resolution artificially and slapped on some anti-aliasing. Kojima is clearly talking about a project that's been cancelled or in which something has gone horribly wrong.

Yeah if they didn't do this and Crisis Core (i'd hope) i'd say they were doing something wrong.

I'd say those two would probably be your biggest sellers... or at least best chances at "can't miss" because they're legacy products on stuff that's popular on consoles.
