 No, it is not the same, I am HR6 now, and there are a lot of differences. Yes, there are not underwater fights, there are more monsters, weapons, and armor sets... The lack of online is a real shame, but the game is really good.

 My only complain is that the game is way way too easy... Sure there are some difficult missions, but mostly because is a 2 or 3 monsters quest, but not because the game is actually difficult. Again, the game is good, but not anywhere close to MHFU.

I mean, it won't be full price and it will have extras right?  Including HD graphics?

Every console MH has seen pretty good increases.

I mean... correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't MH games mostly remakes anyway with just added content?

I always got that impression that it was kinda like they kept what they had then just added more stuff each time.

The answer is: you didn't even spent the time to check the sales of MH-psp-console-ports like MHG on Wii and PS2.

I already pointed to these sales. MHG sales on Wii: 230k, on PS2: 250k

So, imo, you should check the facts because without research your opinion is just a shot in the dark.

We will get early answers from COMG and when Famitsu gives is shipment totals for the game.  The game releases this summer and with a relative drought of games for the PS3 (outside Yakuza of the End) its prime to get the spotlight for a while.

I don't know why this is a side tirade? sales of MH-ports on consoles are helpful tools to guesstimate numbers, imo. 

his conclusion is based on many faults, imo, so i think it's ok to pinpoint these faults.

If your thread is not about discussion of this topic, but just shouting out what comes in mind first, i have no interest anymore anyway.
