A Sega producer isn't against the idea of making a new F-Zero game if someone came up with a good idea that Nintendo would be happy with.
Sega have a history with Nintendo's futuristic racing game having developed F-Zero GX for GameCube and a company producer has spoken of the possibility of working on an F-Zero game again.

"It might happen if someone comes up with a brilliant idea that would make both Nintendo and SEGA happy," said Nobuya Ohashi who is currently working as a producer on Mario & Sonic At The London 2012 Olympic Games.
He added: "If there's a good idea, that will work for both of us, then we might do that."
Yet a word of caution for those who are beginning to get excited about the prospect of an F-Zero game returning to Nintendo's new console or even 3DS. There are currently no plans for a new F-Zero games.
Ohashi added: "As far as we know, we haven't heard of any concrete plan or project that's going on."
Would you like an new F-Zero game to be released and for which format? Would you like to see a new F-Zero game on Nintendo's new console or 3DS?
Although I was pretty crap at it, I loved F-Zero GX. I would love a new F-Zero game no matter what platform it was released on. One utilising the 3DS' stereoscopic 3D would be insane!
Who is with me?
