Ouch, everything looks so down, now we can't really say 3DS is the only console doing badly (with a reason, still needs games), PS3 and Wii both have awful numbers this week.

PSN has affected PS3 quite a lot this time... wait. Wii 6,000?

Ok, in that case I don't know what's happened. Anyone care to explain why hardware numbers are so low?

Wow, those numbers really are horrible. The PSP still doing respectable numbers, and 360 doing acceptable relative to itself, but everything else is awful. I don't remember the software numbers ever being that low. Unless there is a rebound next week, price cuts and new software will be needed ASAP.

Japan Hardware

Actually the only console up YoY is PSP, DS is obviously down (60%), Wii near 70%, PS3 about 25%, 360 over 30%...the situation sure isn't healthy, actually the only system which has acceptable numbers is 3DS, which until has more games obviously continues selling low (the same happened with DS after the holidays when it was launched).

Terrible hardware sales.

I noticed some weeks ago that PS3 was performing really bad, of course there is no reason to worry about it but it is something to remark.

3DS already below 20k, who would have thought it months ago.

Software sales aren't any better though I'm somewhat happy to see that Steel Diver didn't completely bomb and it is surprising that Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou sold more on PS3 than on PSP.

The Jap preview said that Steel Diver was gonna be the first N°1 entry for the 3DS, it seems that both DQMJ2:Proffessional for the DS and Haruhi Suzumiya for the PS3 debuted ahead of it.
