Forums - General - Netflix topping NA traffic usage

Around the Network

Can't say I'm suprised. Most people I know don't even have cable anymore, and watch most of their tv on Netflix instant. And it keeps getting more and more content everyday it seems.

LISTEN TO THE FIRST WORLD PODCAST REAL GAMERS, REAL AWESOME

Yeah.  I was going to post that.  Interesting stuff.

I think the recent AT&T cap on 150GB is in response to this. The online stream will only grow and soon enough, they'll be swimming in cash from overage.

By then, it's too late to fight back.

Yeah... once you get to streaming HD anyway.  Not sure how much internet i use... hence the caps interest me.  Not that i have a cap currently but when i move...

I can't say internet availability wouldn't be a factor in buying a house.

Well i think this chart excludes porn, which would top probably at around 90% of usage.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I don't see any reason why it would exclude porn.

Think that's what Bittorent and HTTP get a lot of it's numbers from... that and other piracy on bittorent.

I'd like to blame yo_john117 for this :P
