I essentially told people their paid survice was not available with no time frame of when the issue would be fixed.  Some people called repeatedly for 2 weeks unable to sign in(we knew because we had to enter a ticket for each time a person called and I could view their history) Some people were really out of the service that long even if the service as a whole wasn't down.  For those customers I'm sure it felt like the service was down.

I'm just saying I understand the OP being upset over lack fo service.  I'm sure those costumers I had to deal with fealt the same.  I don't understand why the ill will towards the company.  I have dealt with costumers who did pay for the service and though irrate were not harboring ill will.  It just seems strange to me is all.  You would think the behavior reversed.  


Yes, but an online service being down for a few members is a far differant situation than it being down for all members.

True but it probably has the same effect for those people.  I'm saying having dealt with those people I can understand where he is coming from.  I just dont understand how the paying customers werent irritated sufficiently to feel the need to punish the company and the one who never had to pay zilch  for this service was.

@kasz wasnt trying to offend anyone, the hackers commited a crime, abusers commit crimes, robbers commit crimes, those are crimes caused by the criminals, its the same thing, last time i checked you dont blame the victims

have you got your email yet? 

i dont have my ps3 here but i have my psp(which i had not gone online with yet) so i figured i would just change password through their website instead of waiting for ps3 to be returned and now am waiting for their email too :(

I haven't gotten mine. Been a day and a half now. One of the admins on the EU blog said that if you haven't recieved it within 24 hours, you'll have to request another as the initial one will be expired.

Still waiting...

Sony wasn't so much the victims...we the consumer were because of both Sony and Hackers. They are both to blame.

OT: My cousin is also having trouble and he's pissed about it. He is following the directions but an error keeps popping up (he has to do it the internet way)

Gotta find the people still trying to continue with all this negativity towards Sony humorous.  I guess some people don't like that Sony are still selling plenty of PS3's and that this whole PSN thing isn't going to ruin them.  Don't get why people act like Sony sent a signal to your PS3 to blow itself up, along with your HD TV.

dont waste your time on my identity, sony already stole it and has been buying large quantities of animal porn and sending me the bills... and the animal porn, now im knee deep in bills and animal porn, and its all thanks to sony and their ps3

also, i suspect the psn involvement but cant prove it yet. probably something to do with the self destruct signal that psn has been sending to the appliances in my house, and time travel.

ps. my psp and ps3 plot my demise amungst themselves via remote play, it will be the end of me. i recomend all you to turn it off, they are the ones who planned the attack against me where i stubbed my toe on the side of my bed.

Not unless they updated the rules last I checked.  If you don't actually have an arguement to make and can only resort to attacking other forum members... what else would you call that?

You do if they lost other peoples shit and were neglegent while doing it.

Afterall, if you kept you let your friend borrow your Ipod... then he left his doors unlocked, and a theif breaks in and steals your Ipod, would you not blame him?

I imagine you'd be even more mad if it was like in the case of Sony where they outright taunted the people who do steal stuff out of cars by saying something like "Nobody would dare steal from my car because i would sue!" on local TV.

I hope this community raises again to an enjoyable level when 2.0 is launched (or was it 3.0?).

At the moment it looks as if gamrConnect is slowly but steadily turning into a Sony-only forum.
