downloading might be fine, but uploading is still an issue as far as I understand things

They would try to tax any piece of hardware or media that music can be saved on.

The already get money from CD/DVD in Canada. Now, they are trying to dip into the flash memory bucket.

I wonder why they hadn't try to dip into the music/portable players. Oh wait. I know. Because other corps will fight back.

Yes, we're not supposed to upload things (from what I know) - we depend on the Europeans for that.
