With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Kratos climbed out of hell to kill a god. He killed the god, becoming a god himself. The gods then betrayed him, took his god powers, and cast him back into hell. He climbed out yet again and killed another god!

No one can take Kratos. Not even Duke Nukem or Chuck Norris.
