@lordtheknight "Actually, I find the same applies to PSN and XBLA. The best games are the classics." fair enough

I think my point was very clear, but in case it wasn't I'll do the nice thing and elaborate.
You are a multiple console owner, which means you have the time and money to invest in more than one platform in order to have more options when it comes to games. That is good. However many people do not have such a privilege on account of having other costs to cover (such as living) and other things to spend time on (like school, family, a job, social life, other hobbies... take your pick).
These hypothetical people might also not have had the time to acquire multiple copies of classic games on past platforms and play through them ad nauseam. In fact, as you know, to many the Wii may be their first console, or at least their first console in a long while (so called "lapsed gamers"). That is the way it was intended to be from the beginning, you can find quotes from Iwata on this as far back as 2005.
All that is pretty basic knowledge, and I'm sure is nothing new to you. Would anyone be super excited about FAST if they have been playing Wipeout HD for years already? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the answer is: not likely. Would anyone care about FF6 or Chrono Trigger if they already own them multiple times and have played through them enough to know them by heart? Once again, I'm sure you can figure out the answer on your own.
With that painfully obvious premise out of the way, I think it is understandable that my original post was not meant for you, and therefor your response was unnecessary and contributed nothing to the discussion.
On a personal note, I for one am sick of this aura of pessimism surrounding anything that has to do with the Wii. Constructive, intelligent criticism is always welcome. Frustration over the lack of expected games is understandable. But if they become the norm from a platform owner rather than the exception, then the obvious conclusion should be to sell your Wii and its games in order to afford a console that has games you like. Or better yet get multiple consoles as in your case. At that point you should be a pretty satisfied customer, and I'd expect the amount of negativity in your posts to diminish since you'd be more satisfied as a consumer.
Building an online community takes effort, and that effort should be (mostly) spent in trying to bring people together via constructive means. As an example, take a look at any of the threads by smeags, who is always trying to bring unbiased awareness to the positive aspects of any game or system. This is the kind of thing that helps a product find its audience, as opposed to calling it "not worth a crap" which is neither informative nor helpful.
Why anybody would want to spend their time giving only non-constructive criticism is beyond me. If you don't care enough to be constructive, why post in the first place? If you are trying to be cynical in order to make a point about Wii as a system, you are 3 years too late.
Finally, if you don't bother checking out reviews for games on WiiWare, how do you expect to know if there is anything "worth a crap" on the service? (granted the lack of a proper demo service is a major issue, but that is precisely why we have reviews and online communities to begin with - in order to inform).
It is these many reasons which lead me to question whether or not your posts have a point. And posting pointlessly is the same as wasting other people's time IMO.
That is really everything I can possibly say on the matter...
