Why the heck are they going to talk about 2012 when they only have like 2 or 3 games coming out in 2011?
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

This.
The BuShA owns all!
Bundling Mario Kart is a good move but they should have gave consumers a better selection like bundling other games such as Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime and so on
Hopefully, they announce more appealing softwares; surprises isn't always appealing
Ok, so lets create a line up for Wii for the rest of the year. We can use already known, announced or released games from japan and 2 additional "surprise" games.
July: Rhythm Heaven
August:Kirby
September: Xenoblade Chronicles
October: Surprise Game 1, Pandora's Tower
November: Legend of Zelda, Surprise Game 2
December: The Last Story
Does anyone know how long Nintendo's E3 press conference be?
Wii games, Zelda, 3DS, "Project Cafe" & more. It seems like it will be at least 2 hours.

I will go with 1.5 hours. 30 minutes to Wii, 40 minutes to DS and 3DS, 20 minutes to Project Café

Well, Xenoblade is confirmed to come to Europe, so North America shouldn't be far off.

Plus, there are plenty more surprises in store for 2012 from us – Wii has got a great future ahead of it. We just wanted to make sure that the appeal of Wii is as broad as possible, and the new Mario Kart bundle is designed to be a great value proposition to anyone who is interested in getting a Wii. With this specific campaign, we are targeting families with young kids looking to buy their first games console. This is a very large potential audience, and the new Mario Kart bundle will be the perfect proposition for them." - Nintendo UK marketing manager Rob Lowe |
Seems like two separate thoughts.
"Wii has got a great future ahead of it"....in 2012
Nothing that comes after that really has to do with the rest of 2011 besides the Wii bundle.
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
Even if theres just a port of RE Revelations, a new remake of an old FPS (hint - Turok), or something similar, ill be happy with Wii this year.
Happy because I own a 3DS, and ill be spending more money on that console anyway.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
