Forums - Sony - I hate the sixaxis thing in the dualshock controller.

Why didn't the update happen? If you are connected online it should update...

And use your original sixaxis controller that you got with the PS3. That should solve your problem.

EDIT: Okay I see your problem. Try not to get attacked by the zombie things they won't be able to attack you if you keep running away from them in circles or attack them from a distance or from a place where they can't reach you (like an elevated platform).

I was trying so hard to do that but its just a bunch of narrow corridors (with no elevated platforms) and they jump you like crazy...I actually made it through 4 sets of them but then one of them finally got to me and it kicked me pretty far back (and thats where I said fuck it >_< )

As to the trophies: He updated back when I was at level 10 and I'm at 18 and still don't have 1 trophy for the game.

Where are you in the game? If you explain I can explain. The game can be played without the sixaxis, I am sure.

Try pressing the melee button if you really can't manage any other way. I think its square button? I am not sure if it will work though.

I'm right at the beginning of the German base where I have to get a generator back online right after all the yellow pipe platforming where you split up from the girl.

Controller getting modded? Hmmm, let me guess.

Dualshock 3 innards modded into an XBox 360 controller shell?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Haha I thought you were there.

So what you should do is turn on the generator. The zombies will attack you. Its a big room and if you can't see the room properly then increase your tv brightness. Try to attack them the moment you see them and don't stay at the same place. Keep moving and regularly check your back.

After some time I think a door opens up? Go inside that door and you will end up reaching a corridor thing where at the end there is an elevated platform. You can climb it by jumping on it. From there you get a very clear look at the entrance of the corridor, and be prepared to kill the enemies the moment they enter the corridor. I think you have to press something to trigger this? Try to get headshots to save on ammo and kill them quickly. Reload the gun if you are low on ammo where there are no enemies.

I think you may have to go to another door again, repeat the process over there as well.

I actually liked the Sixaxis in Flower, Dark Sector, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, etc.

It blows in games like Lair though.

All in all it's very much like the Wii controller. A lot more than people seem to think.

can't you just avoid them by constantly running around? At least that's what I did and I can't remember having the need to shake them off at all :S

That's exactly how you beat the mutants: run and gun. I don't remember ever getting caught either once I started doing that.

It's only odd because you go through the entire game doing the exact opposite (cover and fire), but since they don't shoot at you, there's literally no reason to ever stop and take cover.
