DO we lynch linkz, or is there a better option? If there is a better option, would you consider notstan or ST?

Wow, a lot of food for thought since I last saw this thread. 

The only town roles I can think of that could help the town by getting lynched today, which I believe LInkz said is arguably true of himself, are Miller (since it would disrupt the town less to get lynched now than, say, tomorrow after a cop scan), or a Jester (if it's a version that doesn't end the game for the rest of us when Linkz gets lynched and achieves his personal victory condition ... and if ABC put in a Jester I'd expect it to be that version). 

I wanted to lynch Linkz once I saw that he didn't know his role -- I'd thought he said he found that out form the second PM when apparently he only meant his general alignment.  But then he read the PM. 

Things were looking awfully bad for Vette ... but now it seems like he has a little bit of wiggle room.  I'd peg him as a good target for vig or cop though. 

I don't see compelling reason to move my vote off No Lynch, but I'm open to being convinced.  But really, even though it's only been five days RL, it seems like this Day 1 has already lasted forever and bids fair to last two or three more forevers before we settle on a lynch (if it's not going to be Linkz).  There's no shame in Day 1 No Lynch for me. 

If I think Linkz is probably town, would it be wrong to lynch him on the strength of his own comments that it might be for the best? 

I just thought your choice of words was strange, specifically the "if I was going to flip scum" part. I found it odd that you would theorize on your own alignment.

I'm going offline in 10 minutes but I'll hopefully have some time tonight to look at this. I also feel this day has been going on forever.

I've also been noting that. I remember last time his alignment was called into question and in danger of lynch he repeatedly urged that he wasn't, saying, this is a big mistake. I WILL flip town, this will be a devastating loss, etc etc. I've only see him do it here a couple times now, and even stranger I have noticed him theorizing his alignment also in several posts. I want to lynch him but I can't help feel that he's a bomb now, thanks to wonk.

Don't ignore the caution I urged. Random odds only put it at a 27.3-36.4% chance(given 3 or 4 scum) it would benefit town, which are the same odds as a random lynch.(from my view)

I'm not a Miller. I would certainly claim that as town in this position. Town would probably still lynch me, but it would with absolute certainty prevent a cop scanning me needlessly as I'v already learned Millers will die one way or the other. Additonally, there's no reason a Miller would make me insignificant to scum either, as there can be powered Millers. So that wouldn't fit with my reluctance to claim at all.

I'm also not a Jester, and I hope ABC didn't include one.

Oh, that was pointing out a logical fallacy for anyone thinking I would say all that as scum.
