If he did get a second pm that had all of his info, why would he need to read the first?

You are voting him yet quasi defending him not reading his role PM

I'm not defending him. I'm asking if he is telling the truth about his second pm, then does he really need to read the first one?

Do you think he's telling the truth? Do you think he got all the info in the second post? How will he know if he has all the info if he doesn't read the first post?

And you are quasi defending. You are asking if him reading the fist post still matters. Not a full out defence just asking the wrong questions.

No, there is no way for me to know if he is telling the truth. I asked "if he got a second pm" because I'm not sure if he actually did. What would be the right question then?

I didn't ask what you know. I asked what you think. The if statment was a qualifyier for your question not a question itself.

Some good questions are: are people voting him because they think he's scum or because they don't like how he's playing the game day one?

If people think he scum, what are their thoughts on what would motivate him to do this? Do those ideas make sence?

If people are voting based on how he's playing day one will him admitting reading his first post satisfy them or is it too late and they are out for blood?

@Linkz, you don't NEED to save me time, but if you're really out to hunt for scum, you should at least be mentioning the names of people who were surprised by wonk's gambit. I mean, remember my retarded gambit that outed trashleg as the cop? You were the only one that expressed surprise really. I don't know if it was a charade, but you came off as relieved. I think that knowing those people is important. Glad to know that Heph is one of those names.

I still think notstan is mafia also.

I need to look over that whole thing again.

Sorry to say, but it's starting to look like we can get a boatload of information from your lynch, moreso you than anyone else.

interesting that you are twisting things. It's not wonk's gambit that surprises me, it's the nonchalence with which Linkz outed it.

and yes I agree, his lynch will provide plenty information Mr. tippingpoint, but it's also lynching someone who has not given any reason to think that he is not scum, while giving multiple reasons to think the opposit.

Please, tell me how tipping point vote is a scum tell, and specifically, tell me why 4th unvote is a tell as well.

I know why, but I think you're just trying to either pressure me or make me look bad. So let's have it.

actually both i'm trying to get a read and i'm having fun teasing you.

to me it's not 4th vote specifically but tipping point vote in general (middle point which here is the 4th) as it's also the point where a lynch gains momentum. People are hesitant on the first votes, they are hesitant to hammer, but the middle spot is a safe causy spot in which you can hide by neither being the strong voice in the lynch, nor the last voice in the lynch. About momentum, the middle vote is the one that puts the lynch in the likely to happen area as you have over 25% of the votes already and in effect, the next votes will be less hesitant to be cast (until the hammer). Townies will think "hey they all voted for this so there must be something", scum will think "ok there's a lynch, let's look good an join it / let's join but voice hesitation / let's just voice hesitation".

Now you may have a different theory, I like this one, but I especially like that you used to always talk about it and poof you do it both on vote and unvote ^^

Yes, that is why they are important. But tell me, how is it relevant in combination? If I'm mafia, I both want and don't want to lynch linkz? I WANT to lynch linkz, so why would unvoting 4th help me?

But, yes, I can see you teasing me.

On another note, being older 4500 years and still playing videogames? you have my respect. :P

to be fair, they are still relatively new so haven't had time to bore me yet, but i'm back at pen and paper (well keyboard and screen) with mafia ^^

(on your analysis, the only thing I disagree is your last point on Stefl, to me wonk can't be considered as a confirmed townie... as he has no weight on the game besides his voice)

ABC, does wonk count thowards victory conditions?  Scum usually wins at 50% of town, but here if we have 3 scum 3 townies including a Vig (hypothesis), town could technically still kill as often as scum... but they are already 50%, unless wonk is counted. Or did you put kill all townies as the condition? in which case, if wonk is still considered a townie, the mafia can at best draw! =D

unlinkely scenario but it's still interesting to know how worthless that lama is =)

1. Both
2. To try and throw people off with any connections he happens to make during the first day.  To try and hide his possible helping of fellow scum and trying to falsely look innocent.
3. I think the only way I would unvote him is a full nameclaim and roleclaim.  With exact details of the roles abilities unless its common like a cop or doctor.
